The three aspects of powerless strife and litigation are like a fan calling for bad times. If you rely on the precious Three Jewels that do not deceive, having abandoned the one and only refuge, Even if you call upon the gods, the gods will not protect you; this is because you have no support from people. Having abandoned the immediate and long-term good deeds, the truthful and unfeigned words, Even if you deliberately engage in deceitful schemes, that is the evil mind that ultimately leads to ruin. The glory of subduing others' fortune is the natural result of offering to the Three Jewels, Being unable to bear others' wealth and engaging in jealousy, the weapon of evil thoughts will turn against oneself. The king's power and the country's rise and fall are sometimes changes in the times. Impermanence is the nature of samsara; if you understand it from the depths of your heart, why should there be joy or sorrow? If it is slightly good, pride arises; if it is slightly bad, the heart becomes discouraged; this is not the behavior of a brave and steadfast person. Not being proud and not being discouraged is the nature of the holy ones; if you want to accomplish great things, you must be patient. Whether it is Dharma or politics, in this situation, When this kind of need arises, the good path will naturally and immutably turn. The good wish like a wish-fulfilling jewel, if it arises in the mind without a matchmaker, There is no way that all the things you wish for will not be accomplished; this is the great path of all the sons of the Buddhas. The good and bad of actions are carved by karma; do not think too much about what to do and what to do. A scattered mind is like a fish in a dry stream; it is difficult to obtain the desired fruit. If you take the good wish to benefit all beings as the foundation, then body, speech, and action, No matter what you do, it is the holy Dharma; keep this one and only Dharma firmly in your heart. If you understand the conduct of a Bodhisattva, Dharma and politics will not conflict, Its root is altruism and compassion; do not forget it for a moment. Even though this physical body is not independent, the mind of conceptual thought will not be controlled by others. If you constantly integrate Dharma and your own mind, you do not need to pretend to practice Dharma and be too scattered. If you have faith and compassion in your heart, no one will say don't do it. If you pray to the Three Jewels and the Guru, actions in accordance with the Dharma will naturally be accomplished. Like the preparations for building a castle, it is not necessary for accomplishing the path to liberation. In a single moment, turn the conceptual thoughts of the mind towards the Dharma.

It is so. After putting aside all worldly affairs, it is difficult to say that one is practicing Dharma now. Therefore, whatever worldly affairs one does, one should obtain the alchemical calculation of good intentions. If you do so, you will become a good tree of both Dharma and worldly affairs, holding the fruit of the wish-fulfilling jewel tree, and I pray that you will obtain the pure white virtuous crown that is as strong as the kingdom of the gods. The old man's eyes are dim, his intelligence is declining, and he has little wealth such as paper and ink. Although it is difficult to write a letter that pleases you, I cannot disobey the words of the holy ones. I have written down the intermittent trivial matters and offered whatever I thought of immediately. Please do not mind, but look upon it with compassion. For those who have little learning but have faith in the Dharma, such as the Rongba of Shar Gyalmo (present-day Danba County, Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province), Garwang, etc., the following are the key points of practice. First of all, although one wants to practice Dharma, one cannot do so as one wishes, because one has not made a firm resolution from the bottom of one's heart. At this time, one must completely cut off one's own thoughts and not listen to anyone's words except those of a qualified lama, just like a madman. However, if one has not first tamed one's mind well through the four thoughts that turn the mind away from samsara, and one recognizes that all things in samsara have no meaning whatsoever, whether in happiness or suffering, and one is disgusted by them like a jaundiced person being given roasted barley flour, then relying solely on sudden renunciation and retiring too early will lead to practitioners doing many meaningless things, like picking yak hairs in the starlight, or realized beings regressing, or old practitioners becoming like Akhrad (A khra d) drawing water. Therefore, one must first keep the four thoughts that turn the mind away from samsara in mind, and one must not talk about Dharma, put it into practice, or retire until one has been able to give up all the affairs of this life from the bottom of one's heart. When renunciation, sorrow, detachment, and devotion that do not change arise from the bottom of one's heart, and one has confidence in oneself, then it is time for the shameless vajra that has already been well indulged. At that time, one should stay away from enemies and friends, let the fields lie fallow, abandon unfinished worldly affairs, not look at the faces of relatives, friends, and family, not listen to the words of superiors and relatives, make one's own decisions, and wrap the nose rope around one's head like a wild animal.
