In the dark abyss of the degenerate age, to follow a holy Dharma holder like you, who possesses the radiance of compassion, it seems that beings of the end times are not without merit. At all times, only the mind of loving-kindness, compassion, and bodhichitta is the root of all virtuous practices. Please always have good thoughts towards all beings, whether noble or foolish, for there is nothing more important than this. He said: For all those who engage in recitation and practice, even if they only understand many scriptures and have a glimpse of the view of emptiness, and spend many years meditating on deities and reciting mantras, they often are born as evil spirits due to evil thoughts. If compassion is held as the core of deity practice, then it is impossible to be born as an evil spirit. Therefore, this alone is the infallible Dharma. The names given were also extracted from compassion and named. Usually, he was skilled in methods, cautious about karma and wealth, and content. Gewon Rinpoche said, "We lack faith in cause and effect, so we cannot accomplish the Dharma. If we could gain faith in karma, we would become like my kind teacher Abu." As he said, the尊者 himself said, "From large things like gold and silver to small things like blue needles and thread, I use them for virtuous deeds and have never used them improperly." Those who sell incense, coral, and other stone carvings cheaply because they do not know their value mostly buy butter and offer tens of thousands of butter lamps in front of the stupas of retreatants. Later, at the age of seventy-one or seventy-two, Amchok Sonam Tsering attended to the尊者. After that, he did not store more than a bag of tea, two or three pounds of edible butter, or four or five pounds of barley flour. He said that before that, he had never stored even a small piece of tea. Even when someone offered a small piece of meat or a small piece of butter, he would be afraid and recite mani with loving-kindness. Like the great bodhisattvas who have attained power, this great being was especially compassionate towards those who were extremely poor and destitute. The Ratnavali says: Have compassion for the poor, have compassion for the unruly, have compassion for all who quarrel, have compassion for the negligent, have compassion for those who are subject to other countries.

Compassion for beings, compassion for those who are attached to wrong views. Like that, even greater love and affection than oneself. From that, how intelligent beings, how earnestly to love, but not like that to one's own beings, wife, children, and friends. Like that, when the extremely poor and distressed, such as stonemasons, come and tell various sufferings such as having no food, no clothes, and beg, out of compassion, their eyes become wet, and their bodies become thin, like losing a piece of flesh, one can see it clearly. If there is something to give to them, they give it, and that day they are happy, showing a joyful expression. If there is nothing, they think about what to do now, looking back and forth, showing an unhappy expression. Seeing a beggar is more joyful than seeing a beautiful feast, hearing the sound of begging is more joyful than hearing pleasant music, the joy of fulfilling the beggar's wish is more joyful than one's own joy, and so on. As mentioned earlier: Seeing begging complete, joy arises, unhappiness and wishes too, because the giver has compassion, even more so, constantly suppressing. And in the Jataka it says: When friends and relatives come from other places, seeing them is like opening joyful eyes, the words of a beggar are like hearing pleasant words and rejoicing, the joy after leaving is greater than the beggar's joy. And in the Compendium of Perfections it says: When seeing beggars come to the great beings, afflictions and unhappiness become weak, compared to the arising of a great joyful feast, they are even more joyful when beggars appear before them. These sayings are mutually checked and confirmed to be accurate, like taking something out of a Satcha carved bowl. When a stonemason named Buko begged for some money, (the teacher) said: Abu, I don't need money, give it to him. He said that, but without saying it three times, (the stonemason) was embarrassed to say he didn't need it. After (the stonemason) said it, (the teacher) gave it. Later, when asked: What is this? (The teacher) said: In the past, our teacher, the compassionate one, was offered some milk porridge by the householder Anathapindika, and a Brahmin boy named Raktadosha asked to give it to me, (the Buddha) said: Gautama, I don't need milk porridge, take it and give it to him. After asking like that, (the Buddha) gave it. Ananda asked: What is this? (The Buddha) said: This (person) has never said 'I don't need it' from his mouth for five hundred lifetimes, therefore in his continuum not
