Taking what is not given, desiring to engage in sexual misconduct are the three. Since the body's growth is the root, may the obscurations of the root be purified. From the blessings of the body Vajra entering, etc., may I contemplate establishing the fortune to attain the state of the Nirmanakaya in my lineage. Again, from the throat, the syllable Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आ, Sanskrit Romanization: ā, Literal Chinese meaning: Ah) blazing like a ruby, rays of light emanate. Entering from my own throat. The deeds of speech, lying, slander, harsh words, and idle talk are the four, and since wind is what causes speech to grow, may the obscurations of wind be purified. The blessings of the speech Vajra enter. Etc., may I contemplate establishing the fortune to attain the state of the Sambhogakaya in my lineage. Again, from the Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) syllable in the heart, which is the color of the sky, rays of light emanate. Entering from my own heart. The deeds of mind, covetousness, malice, and wrong views are the three, and since thigle is what causes the mind to grow, may the obscurations of thigle be purified. The blessings of the mind Vajra enter, etc., may I contemplate establishing the fortune to attain the state of the Dharmakaya in my lineage. Again, from the Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) in the heart, a second Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) syllable shoots out like a shooting star, merging inseparably with my own mind. The basis of the three doors, the karma of the alaya and the obscurations of knowledge are purified. The blessings of the wisdom Vajra enter, etc., may I contemplate establishing the fortune to attain the ultimate fruit, the state of the Svabhavikakaya in my lineage. Thus, reciting and contemplating, finally mixing mind and intention without separation and abiding in equanimity. At the time of concluding the session, When the time of death comes, etc., may you accomplish my intentions. As I recite this, with intense devotion, Guru Rinpoche smiles, and with eyes moving compassionately, a red, warm, and blazing light emanates from his heart. The moment it touches my heart, which I visualize as Vajrayogini, it transforms into a mustard seed-sized ball of light. That light, finally like a rising spark, with a crackling sound, merges into the heart of Guru Rinpoche, and I abide in equanimity. Afterwards, all of samsara and nirvana are clearly visualized as the play of the Guru. By this merit, may I quickly attain the glorious protector, the Lama. Etc., the dedication, and recite the prayer of the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain. Such a Guru Yoga, when walking, meditate in the sky of the right shoulder. That is the support for circumambulation. When sitting, meditate in the sky at the crown of the head.

Om. That is the support for prayer. When eating and drinking, meditate in the center of the throat, which is the place to offer the essence of everything eaten and drunk. When sleeping, meditate in the center of the heart. That is the condensed essence of the wisdom vase empowerment. In short, at all times and in all circumstances, maintain the awareness that wherever you are is the actual Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain. Transform all appearances into the form of the Guru and generate devotion. If illness, demonic obstacles, or other undesirable things occur, cultivate joy, thinking that it is the Guru's compassion to exhaust my bad karma, and do not abandon it. If happiness, comfortable food, increasing virtue, etc., occur, recognize that these are also the Guru's compassion, and do not be arrogant or elated. If drowsiness or agitation, etc., arise from meditating on samadhi, mix the Guru's mind and your own awareness without separation, maintain the self-radiance of seeing the nature of reality, and unify prayer and recitation with Vajra Guru (Tibetan: བཛྲ་གུ་རུ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्रगुरु, Sanskrit Romanization: vajraguru, Literal Chinese Meaning: Diamond Guru). By doing so, all appearances will appear as deities and Gurus, and all actions will turn into virtue. As Lord Milarepa said: When I go, I take appearances into the path, it is the way of practice of self-liberation of the six consciousnesses. When I stay, I stay in the natural, uncorrected state, it is the way of staying of essential meaning. When I eat, I eat the food of emptiness, it is the way of eating that abandons grasping and clinging. When I drink, I drink the water of mindfulness, it is the way of continuous drinking. Moreover, having entered the path of Secret Mantra Vajrayana, if vows are broken, they must be restored; being able to freely practice all paths such as generation stage, completion stage, and Dzogchen, not arising obstacles and deviations, and the accumulation of qualities increasing more and more, all of this depends on the root ripening empowerment. As it is said: Without relying on Secret Mantra empowerment, one will not achieve accomplishment, just like a listener without ears. Without empowerment, there is no accomplishment, just like squeezing sand will not produce butter. Therefore, first, a qualified Vajra Master introduces one into the mandala and bestows empowerment, which is the base empowerment. Relying on Guru Yoga, without depending on other external conditions, one receives the four empowerments oneself, which is the path empowerment. Ultimately, at the time of fruition...
