After that, when the king was making dedications of merit, the Buddha asked the king, "Are you dedicating the merit you have accumulated to yourself? Or are you dedicating it to someone who has more merit than you?" The king said, "Whichever has the greater merit, dedicate it to that one." So, the Buddha began making dedications in the name of that poor person. After doing this for three days, the king was very unhappy and discussed with his ministers how to stop it. The ministers said, "Tomorrow, when offering alms to the Buddha and the Sangha, pour a lot of food and drink outside the containers, let the beggars come to take it, and then beat them severely, not allowing them to take it. Would that work?" The king did as they suggested. The poor person who had previously offered rejoicing also came to take the food, but was beaten and not allowed to take it. The poor person became very angry and destroyed their merit, and that day they made dedications in the name of the king. Therefore, the distinction between good and non-good is not in the actions of body and speech, but in one's own thoughts. As mentioned repeatedly before, when others do good deeds, do not be jealous, do not be proud and arrogant thinking you have done great good deeds, do not be deluded by worldly desires for fame and the poison of the eight worldly concerns, and do not do seemingly great good deeds superficially. Instead, with a pure mind, look at all the good deeds that others do, rejoice from the bottom of your heart, and dedicate these merits to perfect Bodhi. This is the most excellent accumulation. The Buddha explained this in detail in the Sutra of Advice to the King. Similarly, Chagme Rinpoche also said: "When hearing of others doing good, Abandon jealousy and negative thoughts, Rejoice with joy from the heart, Their merit will be shared equally." The Compendium also says: "The Mount Meru of three thousand worlds, Can be measured by scales, The merit of rejoicing is immeasurable." Therefore, rejoicing is an easy practice with great merit, and should be practiced at all times and in all situations. The fifth branch is requesting to turn the wheel of Dharma: Praying to the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Lamas, and virtuous

And those spiritual friends and others who can bear the burden of great altruism, who are weary of the wrongdoings and hardships of beings and do not teach the Dharma, but abide in peace, I also emanate countless hundreds of thousands of billions of bodies, offering wheel kings and jewels, and think of requesting to turn the wheel of Dharma. I urge you to turn the wheel of the Three Vehicles. So it is said. In general, all the Buddha's teachings are included in the Three Vehicles of Hearers, Solitary Realizers, and Bodhisattvas, or the outer Vehicle of arising and guiding, namely the Three Vehicles of Hearers, Solitary Realizers, and Bodhisattvas; the inner Vehicle of asceticism and mantra, namely the Three Vehicles of Kriya, Upa, and Yoga; the secret Vehicle of power and means, namely the Three Vehicles of Maha, Anu, and Ati. Thus, dividing the Three Vehicles into nine categories is to request the turning of the wheel of Dharma in such a way that whatever Dharma is used to subdue whatever being is to be subdued. Sixth, the branch of requesting not to pass into Nirvana: In this realm and other realms, in front of those lamas, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas who have already accomplished the benefit of sentient beings and wish to pass into Nirvana, just as the monk Subhuti requested in the past, I also emanate many bodies and request, thinking that until Samsara is empty, please abide and accomplish the benefit of sentient beings. Recite as follows: Until Samsara is not empty, I pray that you will not pass into Nirvana. Seventh, the branch of dedication: Taking the present virtue as the head, together with all the virtues accumulated by oneself and others in the three times, for the benefit of all sentient beings, like the dedication of Manjushri, seal with the wisdom of non-reference. Recite: All the roots of virtue accumulated in the three times, I dedicate them to the cause of great Bodhi. Such dedication, no matter when and where, for the small roots of virtue that have been done, do not forget to practice at the end. If you do not dedicate, then the root of virtue that is accomplished will be exhausted after the fruit of virtue ripens once. If you dedicate it to the cause of attaining ultimate Bodhi, then even if you experience the fruit of virtue hundreds of times, this root of virtue will not be exhausted until you attain the state of perfect Buddhahood, and it will increase more and more. The Sutra Requested by Ocean of Intelligence says: Just as
