Those sentient beings exert all their efforts of body, speech, and mind in various ways for happiness and well-being in this life and the next. All those sentient beings wish for their own happiness and comfort, and only pursue their own well-being, and no one desires unhappiness and suffering. However, not knowing how to achieve the cause of happiness, which is virtue, they indulge in the ten non-virtuous deeds, so that their desires and actions become completely reversed. Although they desire happiness, only suffering comes to them. All these sentient beings, how wonderful it would be if they could only experience happiness and joy, just as they wish! Meditate on this again and again. Finally, just as you desire happiness for yourself, meditate until you have the same desire for all sentient beings to have only happiness, without any difference from yourself. Similarly, in the Sutras, it is said: "The action of a loving body, the action of loving speech, and the action of a loving mind." Therefore, even when speaking words, even when doing deeds with your hands, be upright and loving, without harming other sentient beings. In the Bodhisattvacharyavatara, it says: "Even when looking at sentient beings with your eyes, look with an upright and loving demeanor." Therefore, even when looking at other sentient beings with your eyes, look with a smile and a pleasing manner, and do not look with an angry manner, such as a glare. In the past, there was a tyrannical ruler who only glared at others, and later he was reborn as a hungry ghost eating leftovers under a stove. Also, it is said that if you glare at a special noble being, you will be reborn in hell. Therefore, all bodily conduct should be gentle and pleasing, striving to avoid harming others and to benefit them. Even when speaking a single word, do not belittle, criticize, or satirize others, but speak truthfully and pleasantly. Also, from the depths of your heart, benefit others, without expecting any return. Do not pretend to act and speak in a way that makes others see you as a Bodhisattva. From the bottom of your heart, only wish for others to benefit and be happy. May I, from birth to birth, in all lifetimes, never harm other sentient beings, not even the space of a single pore of a hair. Pha!

One should repeatedly pray, wishing to be liberated. In particular, one should not beat or excessively exploit the livestock and servants who depend on oneself, even down to the guard dog. At all times and in all ways, one should treat them with love through body, speech, and mind. Those who are born as slaves and guard dogs and are despised and hated by everyone are also experiencing the ripening of the karmic consequences and the cycle of retribution for having belittled and despised others when they were in positions of power in previous lives. If one now despises others because one has rights and enjoyments, one will suffer the same retribution in future lives and become a slave to others. Therefore, one should be especially kind to those who are inferior to oneself. In particular, the benefits of helping one's parents and those who are chronically ill with body, speech, and mind are inconceivable. Jowo Je Lhachig said, "Treating distant guests, chronically ill patients, and elderly parents with kindness is like meditating on the essence of emptiness and compassion." In particular, parents are especially loving and kind to their children, so it is a particularly heavy sin to disobey parents in their old age. The Bhagavan also went to the Thirty-Three Heavens (Trayastrimsa Heaven) to teach the Dharma to his mother in order to repay her kindness. Even if a son carries both parents on his left and right shoulders and circles the great earth, he cannot repay the kindness of his parents. It is said that one can repay the kindness of one's parents by leading them to the Dharma. Therefore, one should always serve one's parents with body, speech, and mind, and strive to turn their minds towards the Dharma. Furthermore, Orgyen Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) said, "Do not despise the elderly and infirm, support them with respect and care." Therefore, one should treat all those who are older than oneself with love in body and speech, and support them in whatever way is pleasing to the mind. In general, nowadays we say that there is no way to practice with the polluted water of samsara without harming sentient beings, but there is a way. In the past, two monks in the human realm practiced the Noble Manjushri and saw the true face of Manjushri. Manjushri said, "I have no connection with you two. The deity of your lifetimes is the Noble Avalokiteshvara. Avalokiteshvara
