It is so. The third is adultery, which is the precept for householders. In the past, during the reign of the Dharma King Songtsen Gampo (circa 617-650) in Tibet, when the ten virtuous laws were established, householders protected them, protected by the Dharma, etc., prohibiting householders from engaging in sexual activity. Therefore, even householders must possess precepts, while all renunciates must completely abandon impure conduct from the root. The greatest fault of adultery is causing others to break their vows. Furthermore, one's own semen being possessed by another, having paid the price for prostitution, even if it is voluntary, during the day, during fasting, being sick, pregnant, oppressed by sorrow, during menstruation, when the sexual organs are not clean, going to places where there are sacred objects such as Buddha images, being protected by parents and relatives, immature young girls, and engaging in sexual activity in the mouth and anus, etc. Experiencing various different forms of adultery from the perspective of place, time, and circumstances. Fourth is lying. There are three types of lies: ordinary lies, great lies, and lies of claiming superior human qualities. The first is all natural lies spoken with the intention of deceiving others. The second is saying that there is no benefit in virtue, no fault in evil, no happiness in pure lands, no suffering in evil realms, and no qualities in the Buddha. There is no way to utter a more serious great lie than that, so it is called a great lie. The third is claiming to have attained what has not been attained, claiming to have clairvoyance when one does not, like saying one has clairvoyance when one does not. All declarations of qualities that one does not possess are lies of claiming superior human qualities. Therefore, nowadays we have reached a time when fake goods sell better than genuine ones, and everyone easily changes their thoughts and actions. Therefore, some who claim to be lamas or accomplished beings are keen on deceiving others through deception. Saying, "I saw a god, I made offerings to the god; I saw a demon, I punished the demon," these are mostly lies of claiming superior human qualities, so do not easily trust false deceivers, but rather trust practitioners who know the inside story, are humble and cautious, and are consistent inside and out, which is very important. In general, there is a small amount of contaminated clairvoyance on the worldly path, but that is only a very small amount, so various situations may occur. Uncontaminated clairvoyance is only attained by noble beings, others do not have it.

Therefore, such behavior is extremely difficult. Fifth, there are two types of divisive speech: overt and covert. The first is when, for ordinary powerful people, when two people are together, they are directly separated by divisive speech, saying, "This person has secretly said these and those bad things about you, and has actually brought you these and those harms. Today, you two are pretending as if nothing happened." This open division is overt divisive speech. The second is when, for two people who are on good terms, you go to one of them and say, "Although you value him highly, he has said these and those bad things about you." Separating them with divisive speech is called covert divisive speech. Among these evils, the most serious is causing discord among the Sangha, especially causing conflict between the Lama who teaches the secret Dharma and the disciples, and causing discord among Dharma friends. These are very serious sins. Sixth, harsh speech is like openly proclaiming the shortcomings of people who are not good-looking, such as directly calling cripples and deaf people "blind" and "deaf." In addition, speaking of others' shortcomings, saying bad things, and even making others unhappy in a gentle way, even if not using harsh language, are also considered harsh speech. Furthermore, it is a serious sin to say various unpleasant things in the presence of Lamas, virtuous friends, and holy beings. Seventh, idle talk is thinking that the secret mantras of Brahmins and other non-Dharma things are Dharma, as well as the talk of prostitutes, songs of lustful thoughts, and many meaningless words that cause attachment and aversion, such as war and thieves. In particular, when others are reciting and chanting, saying many meaningless words that distract them is an act of destroying virtuous deeds, so the sin is very heavy. Saying various idle talks seems to be spoken casually, but upon careful analysis, most of them are caused by attachment and aversion. Therefore, the more attachment and aversion that are aroused in oneself and others, the greater the sin. Furthermore, recitation and chanting, etc., if mixed with idle talk, no matter how many times they are recited, will not produce results. Especially
