After that, I developed faith and offered food, thinking it would be wonderful if I could get the whole family to rejoice in it. Therefore, I offered food to the great venerable Katyayana and asked him to rejoice in it. But he got angry and said, "Before offering to the Brahmins and serving relatives and friends, you are giving the best food to that bald-headed ascetic? Why doesn't that bald head gnaw on chaff?" Similarly, when I did this to my son, he also got angry and said, "Why doesn't that bald head eat iron hammers?" That night, my relatives sent me good food, but my daughter-in-law ate it herself and gave me the bad stuff. I asked, "Didn't I eat the good food and not give you the bad stuff?" He said, "Why don't I eat my own flesh instead of eating your food?" He was lying. Similarly, the food sent by the relatives was still eaten by the maid as before, and she said, "Why don't I drink pus and blood instead of stealing your food?" I thought, "May these beings each experience the fruits of their own karma, and be born and see there." As a result, she was reborn as a powerful hungry ghost. Otherwise, if you offer food to the venerable one, you can be reborn in the Thirty-Three Heavens. If you also go to the city where she lives, tell my prostitute daughter, "I have seen your parents, etc., and they say, 'The fruit of this profession is unpleasant, abandon that unholy dharma and sin!'" Tell her that. If she doesn't believe it, say, "In your former father's house, there are four containers filled with iron, copper, and gold, as well as a golden staff and a round ladle. Take those out and offer food to the great venerable Katyayana from time to time, and take it out in our name and dedicate the merit, so that the karma can be lessened and completely eliminated." They will say that. Similarly, when the teacher Jotari went on a pilgrimage, an ugly hungry ghost woman, who had become the mother of five hundred children, said to the teacher, "My husband went to Vajrasana (Bodh Gaya) to look for food twelve years ago, but he has not returned. If you go there, please come back quickly, otherwise the children will starve to death."

Someone said, "What does your husband look like? All the pretas look the same, how can I recognize him?" She replied, "You can't mistake him, he is a Muslim with a hooked nose, one eye is blind, and he is adorned with nine ugly features." He went to Bodh Gaya. A novice monk discarded a lot of offering water and food, and many pretas gathered there to snatch it up, and he was among them. He brought back his wife's message, which said, "I have wandered for twelve years, and once, a true bhikshu discarded a bit of snot, and many of us pretas fought over it, only getting a little bit." It is said that he was badly wounded by other pretas in the fight over the snot. Similarly, wherever pretas are born, keep in mind the suffering they endure, mainly hunger and thirst. Even now, we feel very painful just from not eating in the morning. What if we were born in a place where we couldn't even hear the name of water? The main cause of being born there is stinginess and obstruction. I too have accumulated countless such karmas. Now I must do everything I can to ensure that I am not born in such a state again." From the bottom of your heart, practice with the three aspects of preparation, main practice, and subsequent practice. The second type is beings who wander in the sky: including tsen, kings, dead spirits, elementals, matmos, local deities, and so on. They always live in fear and illusion, always harbor malice, and only focus on harming others, and immediately after death, they fall into the depths of hell and other evil realms. Especially at intervals of every seven weeks, they experience the same suffering of their previous death from illness, weapons, or suffocation, and wanting to transfer this suffering to others, they cause harm wherever they go, and it is of no benefit to themselves. Even if they happily visit former friends and relatives, they bring them unpleasant suffering such as illness and madness. If powerful mantra practitioners use the three methods of suppression, burning, and throwing, they are suppressed in dark underground places until the end of the kalpa, or burned in the flames of a fire offering, or struck by mustard gas.
