From the depths of my heart, I thought that I must accomplish these four things. Noble status and heroic armies are also impermanent. Like me, a Chakravartin king, possessing the four continents, a golden wheel-turning king. Also ruled the thirty-three heavens. Sitting on the same seat as the lord of the gods, Indra. Able to withstand the battles of the Asuras, eventually fell to the ground. Died without satisfying desires. Now we see with our own eyes, kings or attendants of ministers, or village leaders, etc. All those who have status and benefits, not one can remain unchanged forever. In the past, those emperors who promulgated laws to other countries, now many have to sleep in prison, so what is the use of impermanent power? Therefore, I thought that I should achieve the state of the perfect Buddha, which never declines or decays, and is worthy of the offerings of gods and humans. Similarly, enemies and friends are also impermanent. Once, when the venerable Katyayana went for alms, a householder was holding a child. Eating fish meat with relish. Stoning a dog gnawing on a bone. The venerable one saw with his clairvoyance that the fish was the father of this life, and the dog was the mother's reincarnation. The enemy who killed himself in the previous life, to repay the debt, was reborn as his son. So what he saw was, eating the father's flesh, hitting the mother. The enemy who killed himself was held in his arms. The wife gnawing on her husband's bones. The laws of samsara are truly laughable! He said this. Even those who become enemies in this life later become friendly friends. Associating with relatives and close relatives. There are also many who are more intimate than other friends. Even parents and siblings quarrel and harm each other for the sake of meager property and enjoyment. Even husbands and wives and relatives become enemies due to trivial matters and kill each other. Therefore, whether enemies or friends are impermanent, all should be treated with love and compassion, I often think this way. The state of poverty and wealth is also impermanent, many are rich and happy in the first half of their lives, and poor and suffering in the second half. Many are suffering in the first half of their lives

There are times of happiness in later life, and there are also many examples of those who were beggars in their youth but became kings in their later years, like Jetsun Mila's uncle. In the morning, they welcome the bride and hold a happy feast, but the granary collapses outside, and they utter cries of suffering, which is also inconceivable. Although they endure hardships for the sake of Dharma and experience countless kinds of suffering, they ultimately attain supreme happiness, like the Buddhas of the past and Jetsun Mila. Even if the wealth accumulated by sin brings happiness, it will eventually turn into endless suffering. In the past, in the country under the sun, first it rained grain for seven days, then it rained silk for seven days, then it rained jewels for seven days, and finally it rained earth, and everyone died underground and was reborn in the lower realms. Therefore, do not cling to the impermanent happiness and suffering with hope and fear, but abandon all the happiness and enjoyment of this life in the world like discarding the ashes of spittle. For the sake of Dharma, one must strive to practice, endure suffering with perseverance, and resolve to follow in the footsteps of the Buddhas of the past. Good and bad are also impermanent. From the perspective of the world, those who are eloquent and speak well, knowledgeable and capable, brave and intelligent, will also have times of decline. Once the previously accumulated merit is exhausted, all thoughts will be reversed. Everything will not go smoothly. People will laugh, one will suffer, and one will be bullied. Many of the virtues that one had before seem to be exhausted, and there are many cases where one becomes nothing. Many of those who were previously said to be ignorant, mindless, liars, and frauds later gained wealth and property. Just like the saying, "An old fraud is the leader," people trust them and consider them to be good and thoughtful people. From the perspective of Dharma, just like the saying, "An enlightened person studies scriptures when old, a renunciate accumulates wealth when old, and a teacher becomes a householder when old," a practitioner who abandoned all worldly affairs in his youth craves the accumulation of wealth and food in his later years. A teacher who taught Dharma to others in his youth becomes a hunter and robber in his later years, and
