Knowing. As soon as an evil thought, an unwholesome motivation, arises, it is naturally liberated and purified in the essence of self-existing awareness, cutting off the continuity of the side that arises. Since realization is inseparable from its own abiding state, it is impossible for attachment and aversion to arise with their own characteristics, which means not allowing unwholesome dharmas that have not arisen to arise. Realizing the meaning of reality, recognizing oneself, and thus causing wholesome dharmas that have not arisen to arise. That very realization of recognition arises spontaneously without effort or dependence, and its power, renunciation and compassion, and all the qualities of the path, arise spontaneously, which means increasing the wholesome dharmas that have arisen. Abandoning and adopting the grasping and rejecting of thoughts, the practice of abandoning in the face of awareness is the four perfect abandonments. Effortless abiding, etc. Knowing. Abiding in the state of effortlessness is desiring the nature of reality, therefore, the foot of miraculous power of desire, the diligence of non-effort, the self-abiding wisdom is the foot of miraculous power of diligence. The self-abiding meditation that is free from all thoughts is the foot of miraculous power of mind. The pure essence of wisdom, the clear essence of awareness, the nature of discriminating wisdom is the foot of miraculous power of discrimination. The four feet of miraculous power are the non-meditation of meditation, perfected in the essence of samadhi realization wisdom. The nature of dharmakaya, etc. Knowing. Believing in the intention of the nature dharmakaya as one is the power of faith. Therefore, being diligent in the environment of thought-free realization, free from all artificial actions done by the mind, is the power of diligence. At this time, the Omniscient Great One said: With meditation, do not let the memory appearance wisdom be distracted. As it is said, awakening the memory appearance into wisdom, there is no difference between what is remembered and what remembers, the memory in the essence of wisdom, the conceptual thoughts of characteristics are naturally liberated and purified, abiding in the naked awareness in front of the absence of elaboration, are the last three powers. The self-existing memory is the power of memory. At that time, the intention that does not move from the clear light of reality is the power of samadhi. The wisdom of thorough awareness, the power and appearance of self-arising intention, is the power of wisdom. The Omniscient Great One said: Self-abiding meditation is a chaste holy woman, self-arising intention is a prince, not

That is, "having power." Here, the power of wisdom that arises from meditation is the wisdom of attaining the warmth sign. Realizing the meaning of Ati, the pinnacle of all vehicles, is the wisdom of the pinnacle's appearance increasing, and these two previous paths of joining are also naturally perfected in the face of awareness. Attachment, laziness, forgetfulness, etc., know this! Attachment that is separate from the true Dharma nature is the opposite of faith. Laziness, which is obscured by attachment to bad deeds and idleness, is the opposite of diligence. Forgetfulness, which is lost in practice and scattered, is the opposite of mindfulness. The aspects of sinking and excitement, such as drowsiness, torpor, excitement, and regret, which obscure the samadhi of calm abiding, are the opposite of samadhi. Doubt, which obscures the wisdom of realizing insight and hesitates about whether the true reality is so or not, and wrong views, which grasp things in a reversed way, etc., are the opposite of wisdom. These thoughts of opposition are purified in the instant of meeting and immediately liberating when the nature of the uncorrected Dharmakaya of awareness is recognized. The five faculties that previously gave rise to liberation become powerful because they are not defiled by the opposite side, so they are the five powers. That is to say, the essence of the original purity trekchö of the self-existing great perfection is like the three essential points of the Vidyadhara Garab Dorje: recognize your own face directly, cut off everything at once, and stabilize the base immediately. Among these three, the last one has four kinds of liberation methods, etc., which are the uncommon key points of Dzogchen. If you know how to meditate but do not know how to liberate, what is the difference between meditation and non-Buddhist paths? As it is said, if there is no certainty of the method of liberation, no matter how good the thoughts of calm abiding meditation and artificial speculation are, they will not become an antidote to the afflictions and thoughts of one's own mind. Although relying on calm abiding, those afflictions seem to be suppressed and do not arise immediately, when conditions meet, the poison of thoughts will recur. At that time, because there is no certainty of the method of liberation, there is no difference from ordinary people. Even if the nature of the afflictions is determined to be emptiness, etc., through subsequent speculation, it cannot make thoughts naturally liberated, so the afflictions
