Accordingly, there are four types of generation stage: concise, intermediate, extensive, and greatly extensive. The concise and intermediate are easy to understand, but in the case of the greatly extensive, if the meaning of "self-son" and "other-son" is considered in accordance with the tantras, as it says in the Māyājāla Tantra: "Not conflicting with natural reality, knowing the path in the result itself, all mandalas and bindus, should be contemplated as my sons." This is the self-son. And: "By whom, to whom, is the prayer made? If the mind enters, mixed and without distinction, where does the thought reside if it becomes a son?" This indicates the other-son. Furthermore, in the Śūrapā Tantra, it says: "How does it arise from the power of the Buddha? The ritual of spontaneous accomplishment, and the completion of the limbs of the ritual, the wise one is the son of the Buddha." This is the other-son. And: "The son and the consort, are born from the laws of samsara." As it is said to indicate the self-son. Also, as it is clear in one's own tradition, such as in the Drubde Kagye, "In the matter of my son, there are five others." However, in these, the meaning of self-son and other-son has not been clearly explained, so it seems difficult to explain. But if examined, in both the beginning and the end, the basis of generation, the nature of self, the essence of the Sugata, appears as the form of Vajradhara. Therefore, all appearances and attachments that grasp others as samsara and nirvana, are created in the mind through the door of gathering the intermediate state and bringing forth from the womb, which is "other" as "my son." All that appears and is grasped as samsara and nirvana, is clearly the main deity Vajradhara of the mandala, so all the aggregates, elements, and sense bases that grasp as my own, are obscured by letters and the act of bringing forth from the womb, which is indicated as "I" as "other's son." In between, I, the sentient being of samsara, that other, all Buddhas of the three times, the aspect of complete enlightenment, through the door of completing the ritual of spontaneous accomplishment and the five limbs of the ritual, etc., is generated as the main deity of the mandala, which is "I" as the "son of the Buddha." All that appears as the assembly of deities of the wheel of the mandala, in accordance with the order and door of the birth of the existence of sentient beings of my samsara, the union of father and mother, and the generation through the door of bringing forth from the womb, which is called "other" as "my son." The former two are from the point of view of the basis of generation, the latter

Regarding how to regard it as one's own child through the generation stage, and how to understand its intention, I think there might be some differences, but in the Omniscient Chariot, all three are explained in connection. Therefore, I urge those who have confidence in the explanatory tradition here to examine carefully and open the door of good explanations. In this extensive generation stage, the five-awakening generation stage, there are three: the ground awakening, the path awakening, and the fruit awakening. These are also as objects to be purified, existing in the nature of samsara; arising in the continuum through the force of the purifying path; and the state of the purified result, the ultimate fruit manifesting. Through the distinction of these three, it is actually the five of the four emptinesses, luminosity, and union, so it is the essence of all tantric paths. That is, the three of body, speech, and mind, together with the aggregates, or the white and red winds and mind together with the aggregates, are originally enlightened as the nature of the five wisdoms, which is the ground-time awakening. In the gathering yoga, the example wisdom and in the seeing and meditation, the luminosity of meaning is manifested, together with the union of the four emptinesses, which is the path awakening. In the generation stage that generates it in the continuum, meditating on the five, such as the moon and sun; in the completion stage, by pressing the white and red winds and mind together with the parts on the key points, together with the five wisdoms, this is the path awakening. In the ultimate fruit state, the white part is purified into the body vajra, the red part is purified into the speech vajra, and the awareness is purified into the mind vajra, so that the wisdom of the mind dharmakaya is inseparable from the luminosity of the ultimate fruit, manifesting as the sambhogakaya with the marks and qualities of the ocean, which is the non-learning union, that is, the ultimate fruit awakening. These, when the object to be purified, the extremely subtle white and red winds and mind parts are impure, act as the support of body, speech, and mind, and are the subtle obscurations that obscure the three appearances, becoming the antidote to the obstacle of the luminosity of meaning as it is fully perfected, which is only shown in the vajrayana path, so this is the reason why mantra is shown as the single path. Therefore, if one understands well by connecting the object to be purified, the path of purification, and the result of purification, one will be able to understand all the uncommon key points of the vajrayana path.
