The support for the body is, according to the Shravakas, any of the royal or Brahmin castes in Jambudvipa. The Mahayana tradition believes that one attains Buddhahood in the pure realm of Akanishta, therefore it is considered to have a form realm support. The support for the mind is considered by the Mahayana tradition to be the fourth dhyana. As it is said, "Showing and Vairochana attain enlightenment, all at the edge of one dhyana." According to the Hinayana tradition, even if one sits under the Bodhi tree at Vajrasana and attains enlightenment, it is still a sharp-witted ordinary being. It is said that by relying on the fourth dhyana, they manifest the five paths and ten bhumis on that seat. The second is the complete realization of the knowledge of reality as it is and as far as it extends, having exhausted what is to be abandoned and realized. The third has four aspects: the supporting body, the supporting wisdom, the great qualities, and the activities of the enlightened deeds. The fourth is the path of no more learning, because all that needs to be learned has been accomplished and there is nothing more to learn. The fifth is the eleventh, the Bhumi of Universal Light, which radiates the light of the body that simultaneously illuminates countless three-thousandfold worlds, and the great light of the sacred Dharma that pervades the sky until samsara is emptied. The second is a detailed explanation of the qualities of the ten bhumis, divided into the characteristics, the nature of the bhumi, the classification, and the definition. First, the basis of all qualities, the inseparable wisdom and great compassion, is the nature of the bhumi in this context. The second is divided into seven aspects: the distinction of having a greater share, the qualities of conventional truth, the manner of taking birth, the realization of the antidote, the aspects of what is to be abandoned that are not in common, the signs of attaining the bhumi, and the differences in the fruit. First, those with great knowledge depend on the ten perfections and the three trainings. The fruit of the three trainings. The seventh bhumi is with effort and characteristics, while the eighth bhumi is without effort and characteristics. The ninth bhumi ripens sentient beings, and the tenth bhumi attains mastery over objects and samadhi. The Ornament of the Sutras says: "Having thoroughly understood the nature of reality, here, the support for the three trainings is the nature of reality. The superior discipline, the superior mind, and the superior wisdom are followed. The sphere of activity of wisdom is twofold: the suchness of phenomena and this, the entry of not knowing, knowing, and so on. Since the sphere of activity of wisdom is such, it abides in these two. Through the trainings and meditations, different fruits are various."

Śi. Abiding with formless activity is the first fruit. The manifestation of that without activity, and the field being completely pure, is considered the second fruit. The maturation of sentient beings, the individual perfect accomplishment, and the accomplishment of samādhi and dhāraṇīs, are the supreme fruit. These four kinds of fruits truly rely on the four bhūmis. Abandoning the four obstacles is liberation, the wisdom of liberation, and freedom from obstructive obscurations. Regarding the five uncontaminated aggregates, as stated in the Ratnāvalī: "Having thoroughly realized the nature of phenomena here, the basis of the five uncontaminated aggregates is the nature of phenomena. The aggregate of morality is purified, and below that are samādhi and the aggregate of wisdom, which are purified. Other than that, there are four kinds of obscurations and obstructive obscurations. Liberation from obscurations and the wisdom of liberation are purified. It is the wisdom that understands the aspects of enlightenment, the wisdom that knows the four truths, and the wisdom that knows dependent origination." The mundane qualities are: on the first bhūmi, one obtains twelve hundred thousand qualities, obtains a hundred samādhis and enters into them, sees the faces of a hundred Buddhas, and knows their blessings. One can shake a hundred worlds, can tame those to be tamed, and can go to a hundred buddha-fields. These two go there, see, and then ripen them. In those, one makes the appearance of rays of light, ripens a hundred sentient beings, can abide for a hundred kalpas, can see the beginning and end of a hundred kalpas, and can open a hundred dharma doors. One shows a hundred bodies, and with each body, one shows a hundred fully endowed retinues surrounding it. On the second bhūmi, one shows the way of going around in the wheel of time, separating from the sins of a thousand sentient beings. One contemplates the names of the dharmas for the sake of maturing one's own intelligence. Changes, etc. On the third bhūmi, there are a hundred thousand. On the fourth bhūmi, there are a hundred thousand koṭis. On the fifth bhūmi, there are a hundred thousand koṭis. On the sixth bhūmi, there are a million koṭis. On the seventh bhūmi, there are a trillion koṭis. On the eighth bhūmi, it is equal to the number of dust particles in one million great thousand worlds. On the ninth bhūmi, it is equal to the number of dust particles in ten million countless great thousand worlds. On the tenth bhūmi, there are inexpressible Buddha-fields.
