The same applies to "as it is," as previously stated. Therefore, if we explain by applying only the gateway that symbolizes the way of practicing these two yogas, then firstly, in the case of the complete yoga, generally, all aspects of the three wisdoms are summarized into one hundred and three aspects to be practiced. Among them, taking the first aspect of the base knowledge, the aspect of impermanence, as an example of how to practice, all phenomena included in compounded things exist as a momentary stream of arising and ceasing, which is the aspect of the object. The very nature of impermanence is cultivated by relying on scripture, reason, and logic to cut off the mind's clinging and imputation, which is the aspect of knowledge. This much is sufficient for the Hearer's own path. In the Great Vehicle, it is necessary to generate the realization lineage of all vehicles in the mindstream, so that is not enough. Therefore, both aspects of that knowledge must be made into objects and cultivated with yoga. Although twenty yogas are explained, three of them are merely distinctions in the way of realizing the three wisdoms, and fifteen are distinctions of the stages, so the actual object of cultivation is only the two yogas of non-abiding and non-union. Among them, the non-abiding meditation is the meditation that prevents attachment to objects. At this time, since the aspect of impermanence itself is the object, knowing it as impermanent is only a conventional understanding, but in reality, even impermanence itself is not established as true. Knowing this, not abiding with attachment is the non-abiding yoga. Thus, knowing impermanence as emptiness, and because the mind that meditates is also emptiness that is not established in any extreme, it is not seen by whom, on what, and how yoga is done. Therefore, the so-called meditation is only a nominal imputation, but in reality, there is not even a particle of what is to be meditated upon. Knowing this is because the yoga of object and subject is known to be non-existent, so it is the non-union yoga. This is the meditation that prevents attachment to the subject. These two yogas are also called dwelling elsewhere and preventing yoga, yoga and union are the same meaning. If combined with other Dharma terms, then the so-called no-meditation and no-meditator also refer only to these two yogas. Non-abiding yoga means no-meditation, and non-union

The practice of non-application is the meaning of non-meditation. Furthermore, all those explained as non-attention, which is the meaning of the Mother (Prajnaparamita), are also this alone, namely, not attending to either the object or the subject with true clinging. Alternatively, since it is not established in any object, the mind does not grasp anything at all, which is the meaning of non-abiding. That very non-grasping is the supreme state of yogis, which is the meaning of the practice of non-application. This is the same point as taking up non-meditation as meditation. As it says in the Ornament of the Sutras: "For those without the view of meditation, meditation is considered supreme." Therefore, the ultimate actual practice of the meaning of the Mother Prajnaparamita is this alone, so it is necessary to cut off superimpositions from the depths of one's heart on this very essential point, and do not rely merely on the few words of the texts, treating these points as secondary, while glibly engaging in many meaningless empty talks, which would cut off the share of the profound meaning of the Dharma. Therefore, know that the treatises and meditation manuals of thousands of wise and accomplished masters of India and Tibet all gather on this single point of non-attachment like a hundred rivers flowing into one ocean, and do not grasp at contradictions merely because of different Dharma terms, and do not engage in refutation and affirmation with attachment and aversion, but rejoice with the faith of certain knowledge that trusts in everything. I think this is the result of my study and contemplation of Prajnaparamita. Furthermore, it is not the case that since all phenomena are emptiness, one should not meditate on anything and remain in an ordinary state. But in the ultimate truth, know that all phenomena, represented by the object and the subject, are by nature free from elaboration, unborn, and beyond the mind, so one is not bound by clinging to anything, and in the conventional truth, practice like an illusion, sustained by the three: generation of the mind of enlightenment, the main part being without focus, and the conclusion being dedication. From the lower impermanence of conditioned things to the higher form of the Buddha himself, all are meditated upon in the manner of non-meditation, and generating it in one's own mindstream is the supreme way to meditate on emptiness in this Prajnaparamita. As it is said: "A skilled carpenter or craftsman skillfully makes men, women, and the like; having made them, they also perform all actions. Likewise, a Bodhisattva skilled in the practice of wisdom also performs all actions with non-conceptual wisdom."
