Therefore, it is beneficial to have an understanding of the connections, order, and summaries of the path, but it is not universally present in all forms of expression. It is as explained in the context of the Completion Stage, where the union of the three wisdoms is discussed. The meaning spoken by the Noble Ones and explained by the Wise, well-established by the three wisdoms, is the summarized meaning of the three wisdoms. I think it is difficult to explain it in any other way. The second general topic, the union of the Great Vehicle path, is twofold: the union of the Perfecting Stage, which makes realization independent, and the union of the Gradual Stage, which makes realization stable. Among these, the meaning of "making realization independent" is that previously, represented by the three wisdoms, one has come to know the characteristics of all knowable phenomena, and although all types of realization of the three vehicles have been made the object of aspiration, one has not obtained independence over even the slightest quality of realization. For example, a poor servant knows and counts all the possessions of a great wealthy person, but cannot freely enjoy them, not even a needle. Therefore, first, from the aspect of impermanence onwards, up to the aspect of the Buddha himself, all are meditated upon in the manner of the union of the two truths, thereby generating the unarisen realization, which is called "making realization independent." Then, making realization stable is to connect all the meditations that have previously arisen in one's own mindstream, in their sequential order, and to make them manifest; and for those that have not arisen, to familiarize oneself with them in sequence through hearing and thinking, and for the sake of arising in the mindstream, through aspiration and diligence, to make all the realizations that have previously arisen in the mindstream habitual, familiar, and stable. For example, when teaching a child to read, first one learns each letter one by one, relying on the letter molds and pronunciation, which is like the union of the Perfecting Stage. Afterwards, one combines many of the letters previously learned and learns to spell words like "Buddha," and through habit one becomes proficient, which is like the meditation of the Gradual Stage. The Peak and Instant are like the measure of the path where the previous two unions have been cultivated to the extreme, so there is no separate way of meditation. Among these, the union of the Perfecting Stage

There are four stages when familiarity becomes tenfold: In the worldly path, when the four conceptualizations of grasping and being grasped are the remedies that surely suppress them, and when qualities such as the signs and increase arise in one's mindstream, it is the peak of the path of joining, because there is nothing higher than the realization arising from worldly meditation. In the noble path, first, when the remedy that uproots the four conceptualizations of grasping and being grasped, which are to be abandoned by seeing, the wisdom of non-conceptualization of the path of seeing, arises in one's mindstream, it is the peak of the path of seeing, because there is nothing higher than the samadhi realization of directly seeing the nature of reality. Immediately following that, when the remedy that uproots the four conceptualizations of grasping and being grasped, which are to be abandoned by meditation, arises in one's mindstream, and when, relying on all kinds of samadhi, one gains freedom to accomplish as much worldly benefit and happiness as possible, it is the peak of the path of meditation, because, in terms of the path, there is nothing higher than the samadhi of meditation. Finally, when even the subtle clinging appearances that hold the two truths to be different or good and bad or contradictory are uprooted, and when the non-conceptual wisdom characterized by the three aspects of object, aspect, and cause arises in one's mindstream, it is the peak of the final path, because there is no other path that can interrupt the ultimate result, the Dharmakaya. The stage of gradually familiarizing oneself to the ultimate is a moment, that is, when one manifests one uncontaminated dharma, all the uncontaminated dharmas that one has previously manifested are non-dual, and one is able to manifest them in a signless manner. This is the stage of reaching the end of the path, and this and the previous uninterrupted path and liberation path are only distinguished by the reverse of equipoise and subsequent attainment, but there is no difference. Therefore, the actual objects to be meditated upon are the complete stage of joining and the gradual stage, and if, according to the order of the scriptures, the peak arises in one's mindstream based on the complete stage of joining, although something like the meditation of the gradual stage will arise, this is only the order explained by linking each part of cause and effect, not the order of practicing meditation. Therefore, when meditating, even in the initial stage, both can be meditated upon simultaneously. For example, in terms of hearing and thinking, the end
