Thus, one can understand the meaning therein. The third is the peak practice of the path of cultivation: the basis is the path of cultivation, what is to be abandoned is conceptual thought, and the basis is qualities. The first is, "Together with cessation, etc., one proceeds from different places." Thus it is said. Here, there are two types of practice: the practice of the lion's leap and the actual practice of the Samadhi of direct transcendence. The first is the nine successive absorptions, including the eight absorptions and cessation, etc., going up and down in two ways, in accordance with and not in accordance with the order. The second is the actual practice, which has three aspects. The first is to proceed in order from the first dhyana to cessation, as before. The second is to alternate between the eight absorptions and the eight cessations, proceeding in accordance with the order. Some consider this to be sixteen places, some add desire-mind and consider it to be seventeen places, and some consider it to be eighteen places, including cessation, the interval between desire-mind, and the subtle part of the peak of existence. The third, the consciousness belonging to the desire realm, is not the nature of the Samadhi of meditative absorption of the form realm, so it is restricted. From cessation onwards, the absorptions that transcend one, two, three, etc., alternate with desire-mind, and this has eighteen places. The second is the explanation of what is to be abandoned, conceptual thought, which has two types: object-referring conceptual thought and subject-referring conceptual thought. The first is "brief, extensive, etc., are the objects of experience of the aspect of practice," etc. For those who like brief statements, the Dharma is taught briefly, for those who like extensive statements, the Dharma is taught extensively, and not diligently accomplishing the meaning of the Dharma, not being embraced by the teachings of the Buddha, and the three times of practice, the path of seeing, and the path of cultivation, with the path of seeing as the basis, there are two: past and future. Cessation and non-arising, and not possessing the cause of arising, therefore the present does not have the qualities of the path of seeing. The Nirvana of the Great Vehicle, the practice is the path of practice, directly seeing emptiness is the path of seeing, and becoming accustomed to seeing selflessness is the path of cultivation, that is, possessing the three excellent paths, and the knowable and the knower. Based on the path of the knower, there are two, one, and six, a total of nine. Among these, the first two and the last three are real, and the middle four are from the opposite perspective, the co-emergent nine conceptual thoughts that cling to truth at the entrance to the Great Vehicle path, which are to be abandoned during the path of cultivation. The second is the object-referring conceptual thought from the opposite perspective: the second is

It is said that 'mind' and so on should be understood as referring to the uncontaminated mind and mental factors of the path of meditation, which are considered to be the objects to be abandoned by the object-possessor in the final stage of entering the uninterrupted path.

Incidentally, there are nine other consistent aspects. Second, the detailed explanation is from "as it is in its own nature" to the final "acceptance," which is the three omniscients, and the three ignorances towards the means of eliminating the obscurations related to one's own self, and the ignorance towards the Prajñāpāramitā that is inseparable from the means and methods of pacifying all obscurations, and the three ignorances towards the state of one and other, i.e., whether the knowable such as form and its suchness exist identically or not, and the ignorance towards the fact that the vehicles of demons, heretics, and Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas are not common and unequal with other paths because they obstruct the profound path, and the ignorance towards the clinging to impermanence, etc., as the literal meaning without understanding the four truths such as suffering as free from elaboration, and the ignorance towards the nature of the afflictions without understanding that they are merely adventitious tainted by perversion, and the universal ignorance towards duality without understanding that the characteristics of the apprehended and the apprehender are merely conceptually imputed, i.e., the obscurations of the Bodhisattva path, and its essence, and its object, and its distinction, and what is to be abandoned, and the aspects of the path, i.e., the first three, the fourth, the fifth and seventh two, the sixth, the eighth, and the ninth. Homage to the venerable Avalokiteśvara! Third, the qualities of reliance are from "these plagues are exhausted" to "rely," i.e., like that, by becoming accustomed to the peak of the meditation path for a long time, by the four types of conceptual thoughts to be abandoned by meditation harming the continuum, thereby these like plagues are exhausted and abandoned, and when liberated from being afflicted by disease for a long time, it is like taking a happy breath, and in all states of time, all the abundant qualities of being skilled in accomplishing happiness of higher realms and definite goodness, all that is included by the three vehicles, rely as if four rivers along with their tributaries flow into the great salty ocean. Upon whom does it rely? It relies on the great Bodhisattva who is adorned with the supreme fruit of obtaining the ultimate of the meditation path, in a manner that manifests without relying on effort. That is to say, this third meditation path is placed on the tenth bhumi. Fourth, the uninterrupted peak
