Secondly, the practice of one's own lineage is that the cause for attaining the Great Enlightenment is to meditate on the Mother (Prajnaparamita) in the state of Samadhi through the Path of Seeing, and to teach it to others in the subsequent attainment. Even placing sentient beings of the three thousand worlds in the state of Arhat has the characteristic of immense merit. Secondly, regarding the fruit, the Great Enlightenment, it teaches the Great Enlightenment that abides in meaning and refutes the Great Enlightenment that is fabricated by thought. The first is taught from "exhaustion of defilements" etc. to "to be known." What is the great fruit of the Path of Seeing that possesses such three causes? It is said that the exhaustion of the defilements of the two obscurations and the wisdom of knowing non-arising is called Great Enlightenment. These two, in the ultimate sense, are the nature of the Dharmadhatu free from elaboration, so from the beginning they are exhausted, and the perfect wisdom of knowing non-arising. Secondly, to refute the Great Enlightenment fabricated by thought, refute the tenets of those who speak of entities, and establish the tenets of those who speak of emptiness. The first has two: not observing the pervader and refuting with self-contradictory acceptance. The first is from "the nature of non-cessation" etc. to "what is attained," which means the nature of the exhaustion of defilements that have already arisen, and the nature of preventing the arising of defilements that will arise. Since there is no cessation, in the ultimate sense, it is the nature of Suchness free from elaboration, so by the path called the antidote Path of Seeing, what is to be abandoned is the category of conceptualization of the obscuration of knowledge, and what is the truth of the obscuration of afflictions that previously existed that is exhausted, and what is the form of non-arising of what will arise later that is attained, there is no attainment. Secondly, refuting by accepting self-contradiction is taught from "other's dharmas" etc. to "regarded as strange," which means that other than Madhyamaka, those who speak of entities also accept that the dharmas of grasping and holding and self-awareness exist in the ultimate sense, but also say that the obscuration of knowledge has been exhausted for the teacher Buddha, which I, Maitreya, regard as strange or ridicule, because of accepting contradiction. Secondly, establishing the tenets of those who speak of emptiness is taught from "what is to be removed here" etc. to "liberated," which means that in this nature of dependent arising, there is nothing to slander or remove by nature in name, in the ultimate sense,

There is also not even a little to be established with the nature of attachment. Because the very nature of reality, which is free from acceptance and rejection, is itself, when viewed correctly as free from exaggeration and denigration, one will be liberated when one truly sees the suchness of non-attachment. So, what is the nature of abandonment and remedy? In reality, there is no victory or defeat, but in the face of delusion, it is reasonable that it appears as if the remedy destroys what is to be abandoned by mere illusion. Second, explaining the ordinary meaning, including the actual peak of seeing and how to meditate on it. First: Giving and so on are the path of seeing, that is, each of the six perfections such as giving, and whatever is included in them with each other, which is included by the forbearance of a single moment, that is the path of seeing in this peak union. Because it is the path of seeing that gathers the divisions of the six perfections into thirty-six in the nature of non-conceptualizing the three spheres, it is the nature of the wisdom of meditative equipoise. Second, how to meditate: From then on, it is said to realize from the lion and so on. In order to have power over the realization of the peak of the path of seeing, in meditative equipoise, the obscurations of afflictions and knowledge that are to be abandoned by seeing are destroyed, and without fear, one abides in the samadhi of the lion's complete transformation, and then in the post-meditation, one contemplates the arising of dependent origination in accordance with the law and in disagreement with the law. That is, from "ignorance conditions formations" and so on, by meditating in accordance with the law of complete affliction, one realizes that the main factors of karma and affliction, ignorance and formations, are the root of samsara, and thus realizes the nature of the truth of the origin. From "From what does old age and death arise? From birth" and so on, by meditating on the reverse of the origin, one realizes that the ultimate result of karma and affliction arises from birth and old age and death, and thus understands the nature of the truth of suffering. From "ignorance ceases, formations cease" and so on, by meditating in accordance with the law of complete purification, one knows that the wisdom of realizing selflessness as the antidote to ignorance cuts the root of existence, and thus realizes the nature of the truth of the path. By meditating in reverse on "birth ceases, old age and death cease" and so on, one realizes that by abandoning the afflicted ignorance, the ultimate result of birth and death is prevented, and thus realizes the nature of the truth of cessation.
