The assembly that does not regress from the limbs, etc. As it is taught. The Sangha of the Hearers becomes the four pairs of beings by the distinction of abiding in the path and the fruit of the path. The Sangha of Bodhisattvas is threefold: the Bodhisattva who, starting from the definite aspect, abides in the path of seeing gathered by forbearance, and the path of familiarization with continuity, is the Sangha of non-regression in this Great Vehicle. The second has three: the path of joining, the path of seeing, the path of meditation, are the signs of non-regression. The first has two: a brief explanation and a detailed explanation. The first is: from form, etc., regression, etc., signs, etc., this is to say that the twenty aspects of signs such as regression from attachment to form to omniscience and absence of doubt, etc., are the signs of non-regression because they abide in the limb of ascertainment. The second is the detailed explanation: from form, etc., not regressing, etc. From form to omniscience, by realizing that all are without self-nature, one turns away from the manifestation of attachment to them, and by knowing the uncommon Three Jewels and gaining faith, doubt in the Three Jewels ceases, and by accomplishing the aspiration not to be born in the eight unfavorable conditions, the absence of leisure ceases, and with compassion focused on the benefit of others, one abides in the ten virtuous dharmas and causes others to abide in them, and from the depths of one's heart one is able to exchange oneself with others, and thus focusing on other sentient beings, one cultivates generosity, etc., and by completely fulfilling their thoughts with the Dharma, one completely dedicates the merit to enlightenment, and by not seeing form, etc., as the ultimate truth, one truly understands the profound Dharma, and thus there is no hesitation about the meaning of freedom from elaboration, and the actions of the three doors are engaged in for the sake of benefiting others, and thus one possesses the actions of body, speech, and mind embraced by loving-kindness, and the application of diligence in the three trainings is complete, the obstacle to the aggregate of morality is desire and hatred, the obstacle to wisdom is sleep and drowsiness, the obstacle to samadhi is excitement and regret, and hesitation about the truth, that is, not associating with the five obscurations, and by cultivating emptiness, the antidote to afflictions, one destroys the predispositions of ignorance and the five views by way of deterioration, and by not being distracted in all conduct, that is mindfulness.

Possessing mindfulness and awareness, pure conduct both internally and externally, having clean robes and other possessions, eleven are the signs of attaining the heat stage and being irreversible. Second, the signs of the peak stage: Having attained a state surpassing even the worldly heat stage, eighty thousand types of insects do not arise on the body, having pure intention, the roots of virtue are completely purified, the mind is unwavering, surpassing the minds of Hearers and Solitary Realizers, not looking to gain, respect, and fame, truly accepting the twelve qualities of training, cultivating the extraordinary six perfections, without the opposing factors from stinginess to wrong knowledge, all phenomena do not deviate from the nature of reality, whatever is done does not contradict the nature of reality, and proceeding in accordance with the yoga of the Prajnaparamita. Taking the suffering of beings as one's own, even seeking the suffering of hell for the benefit of others, these six are the signs of the peak stage. Third, the signs of the forbearance stage: Because of having firm faith in one's own realization, even if other demons lead one astray, they cannot shake one; because knowing that the method for attaining Buddhahood is not mistaken, practicing adornment like a path, meditating on skeletons; recognizing that demons manifesting forms and so on are demons, these two are the signs of the forbearance stage. Fourth, the signs of the supreme worldly dharma stage: Because the impurity of clinging to the three spheres is completely purified, all actions please the Buddhas, this is one. Second, explaining the nature of the irreversible path of seeing, divided into brief explanation and detailed explanation. First is the brief explanation, which is "the forbearance of the path of seeing and so on should be known," which is easy to understand. Second is the detailed explanation, from form and so on, to consciousness and so on, to "are pure signs." Because seeing that all phenomena are empty of their own nature, the phenomena realized from form to omniscience, along with the seeds of habits, are abandoned; the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas bless one so that the mind of enlightenment never declines, demons cannot separate one from the mind of enlightenment, and the supreme mind of enlightenment is firm; because cultivating the extraordinary Mahayana, the mind completely turns away from desiring the Hearer and Solitary Realizer vehicle, and is inseparable from the attention of omniscience; by the power of non-conceptual wisdom, truly distinguishing that all phenomena are unborn, even entering into meditative absorption,
