Although there is no other nature than me, it is symbolized as a symbol or basis that possesses that nature, so it is the fourth nature. Fourth, in accordance with the part of liberation, there are two divisions: essence and difference. First, only when the virtue of the part of liberation arises in the continuum can the practices mentioned above be understood through the aspect of nature, so to show this, from "Absence of characteristics" etc., to "desire to be in harmony," it means that with the wisdom of realizing emptiness, in the manner of not clinging to the characteristics of phenomena, from generosity and other perfections to omniscience, bodhisattvas who have not yet attained warmth, although they cling to sentient beings, because their clinging to altruism is weak, they cannot overcome self and others, so they are skilled in generating it in their own continuum, which is in accordance with the part of liberation, liberation is the characteristic of separation, and it is beneficial to that part, so it is in accordance with the part of liberation. Second, the difference is divided into essence and continuum. First, the objects of Buddhas etc. begin, to wisdom and the five kinds, meaning that the faith that clings to the uncontaminated five aggregates and three liberations of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the three times in a way that does not cling to their characteristics, and the diligence that has generosity and other objects of practice, and the mindfulness that clings to the perfect intention that is inseparable from the mother and skillful means, and the samadhi that does not discriminate against form etc., and the wisdom that knows all phenomena in all aspects but does not cling to them, are the five. Second, the difference in continuum is, from complete enlightenment etc., it is said that "realization is difficult." It means that if faith etc. are sharp or great, it is easy to realize complete enlightenment, but if they are dull or small, it is difficult to realize complete enlightenment. Second, in the stages of meditation in which special practices arise in the continuum, there is the time when special practices arise, the person who is the basis of arising, and the stages of meditation of that person. First, the time when special practices arise in the continuum is the definite part, that is, the definite part arises in those who have generated the part of liberation in the continuum and are interested in benefiting others, so to show this, from "The object of warmth-holders is here" etc., it is said "should be known," there are four here, first, the object of warmth is, previously in the context of omniscience, the realization of equanimity.

These are the objects of focus that are primarily based on the main practice (referring to the practice of Shamatha-Vipassana, etc.). Here, in the post-meditation period, the objects of focus are primarily based on actions that benefit others, so the object of focus is all sentient beings. The aspects are: the mind of equanimity, which is not divided by attachment and aversion; and the mind of loving-kindness, which accomplishes the benefit of the present, these two are the small warmth sign. The altruistic intention to accomplish future benefits, and the three aspects of the mind that are free from anger at the happiness of others by subduing pride, not conflicting with each other, and not harming, are the medium warmth sign. For men and women older than oneself, regard them as parents; for peers, regard them as siblings; for younger ones, regard them as sons and daughters. The virtuous friend who benefits others, the trustworthy friend, the relatives of the same clan, and the relatives by marriage on the mother's side, equally cultivate these aspects of the mind, considering each pair as one, these five are the great warmth sign. Secondly, the object of focus is sentient beings, the aspect is that oneself abides in abstaining from sins such as killing, and causes others to abide in this as well, and for those who have already abided, praising them with words and rejoicing with joy in the heart, this is the small peak. Similarly, oneself abides in the six perfections such as generosity, as before, it is the medium peak. Oneself abides in the cultivation of emptiness from inner emptiness onwards, whether it accords with or does not accord with the principle of dependent origination, as before, it is the great peak. Thirdly, as before, oneself cultivates knowing the four truths such as suffering, abandoning what should be abandoned, and realizing what should be realized, starting from abiding in this, it is the small forbearance. Oneself knows the results of Stream-enterer etc., but does not realize them, abiding in this, as before, it is the medium forbearance. Oneself abides in the continuum of the path of seeing of a Bodhisattva, as before, it is the great forbearance. Fourthly, oneself abides in maturing sentient beings and purifying the Buddha-field, as before. Wanting to mature sentient beings with the three vehicles, it is the small position of the supreme Dharma in the world. Oneself abides in generating the direct perception of a Bodhisattva, as before, it is the medium position. Oneself abides in generating omniscience, and abandoning the obstructions caused by habitual tendencies, etc., as before, it is the great position. Secondly, the individual who is the basis for the arising of special practices in the continuum is briefly indicated through having signs. The nature of the Dharma that has signs is explained in detail. The first is determination.
