There are fifteen combinations that arise with the five. The first is: not clinging to and abiding in the interval from form to non-mixture, it is the combination of preventing clinging to objects. Clinging to form, etc., preventing combination, is the combination of preventing clinging to object-possessors. Deeply realizing the suchness of form, etc., is the deep combination of the basis consciousness. Realizing that the nature of these is difficult to fathom is the difficult-to-fathom combination of the path consciousness. Realizing that the nature of these is immeasurable is the immeasurable combination of omniscience. Thus, the five are spoken of, which is to make no clinging to objects and object-possessors, and if one meditates on the three unborn, then the combinations of realizing the three, such as profundity, arise. This is to show this reason, and these are also called the five combinations of nature, because they exist in all from the first action to the tenth ground. The second, the combinations generated by that method are fifteen, the practice of being afraid of the profundity of the Prajnaparamita, etc., and I always give rise to fear, this is for the accumulation path practitioner of dull faculties, it is the combination of great effort and long-term realization. Not being afraid of the three unborn, etc., and having this practice, this is for the accumulation path practitioner of sharp faculties and the heat stage, because it is prophesied that they will not go beyond the three Tathagatas, so it is the combination of obtaining prophecy. From hearing the Mother to properly holding and properly attending in mind is from the peak stage, it is the irreversible combination. From the obstructive dharmas of omniscience, the Hearer-Solitary Realizer ground will definitely arise in the forbearance stage, it is the combination of definite emergence. Meditating on non-elaboration in equipoise and explaining and holding the Mother in post-attainment, etc., this is the Dharma stage, because it is combined uninterruptedly in the seeing path, so it is the uninterrupted combination. The support for newly obtaining the undefiled Dharma of the Great Vehicle and the support for the undefiled arising thereafter is from the seeing path, it is the combination close to enlightenment. The fruit of combination, the Dharmakaya and Sambhogakaya-Nirmanakaya manifestly accomplished, is from the second to the seventh grounds, it is the combination of quickly manifestly perfecting enlightenment. For the benefit and happiness of beings, turning the wheel of Dharma and urging, is the combination of benefiting others. Even if one sees increase and decrease in faults and virtues, in the nature of Dharma, increase and decrease and arising and ceasing will not appear as defilement, it is the combination of no increase and decrease.

The yoga that does not focus on the three realms, etc., and does not abide in the two extremes. The yoga that does not have the arrogance of clinging to the nature of form, feeling, etc., as inconceivable, immeasurable, and unthinkable, and does not consider the Dharma nature as arrogance. The yoga that does not conceive of form, feeling, etc., as characteristics, causes, and nature, and does not conceive of things as entities, these five from the eighth ground onwards. This yoga of giving away the four fruits such as Stream-enterer and the six precious fruits such as self-realization and complete enlightenment to others, although it exists from the beginning, but when the four distinct wisdoms are obtained separately on the ninth ground, it mainly starts from there to ripen sentient beings. The pure yoga that purifies the subtle obscurations of bad destinies is the tenth ground. The fourteen temporary yogas, for things like asking the Prajnaparamita Mother, not abandoning the diligence of years, months, and days is the yoga of the boundary, which exists from the path of accumulation to the seventh ground. From the eighth ground onwards, because it is not necessary to do it after being separated by the boundary, it does not exist. This is said to be the cause of the fourteen yogas. Fourth, the preliminary Dharma of yoga. The qualities to be obtained, the faults to be abandoned, the characteristics to be known, and the liberation-part to be relied upon in the continuum. The first is subduing the power of demons, etc., the fourteen qualities. It is said: Subduing demons, the Buddhas' intention, knowledge, and manifestation are present, approaching complete enlightenment, obtaining the blessing of the Buddhas, being born in a high place, the Buddhas prophesying the place of birth, completing the uncontaminated, proclaiming the Prajnaparamita Mother, abandoning the Hearers and Solitary Realizers from the works of demons, cutting off the common path, acting as said, holding the vast fruit, accomplishing the benefit of sentient beings in the future, obtaining the Prajnaparamita. It is said. Second, the faults to be abandoned: The faults are divided into four groups of ten, and six must be determined and understood. It is said: The obstacles to yoga, the twenty that reside in oneself are: having hardship, quick realization, body and mind, bad destinies, non-lineage, emitting etc., abandoning the Prajnaparamita Mother, clinging to reasons, cause and effect, Mahayana, quantitative association, supreme decline, object discrimination, writing and meaningless words and wordless Prajnaparamita Mother clinging, village etc. obtaining etc. discrimination, seeking skillful means in the non-path. The twenty-three that reside in either oneself or others, the favorable conditions are not complete: desire and laziness, object contradiction, small and large greed, learning, not having qualities, good and non-good, giving and stinginess, wanting to give and not wanting to take, not valuing words, not knowing the Dharma.
