Also, there are two. Thus, through the gate of complete practice, the way to ascend to the higher grounds, that is, gradually abandoning the first ground and the other nine grounds, and the way the qualities of the lower grounds increase upwards, is to explain the situation of the tenth ground: "Having passed the nine grounds," etc., indicates that it should be understood. That is, those of the Hearer and Solitary Realizer lineages, abiding in the accumulation and preparation stages, are the ground of lineage. Entering the stream-enterer's fruit is the eighth ground. The fruit of the stream-enterer's fruit is the seeing ground. The fruit of the once-returner's fruit is the attenuated ground. The fruit of the non-returner's fruit is the ground of detachment from desire. Having become an Arhat is the ground of realization. The latter three of the enterers are the Hearer's ground. The realization of the Solitary Realizer is the Solitary Buddha's ground. The nine grounds of the Bodhisattva are the Bodhisattva's grounds. Thus, having passed the nine grounds, after the abandonment and realization of those are perfected upwards, in the tenth ground of the Buddha, knowing by aspiration, and with whatever wisdom abides in the Buddha's ground, such as the basis of being in control of karma, that should be known as the tenth ground of the Bodhisattva. Second, showing the collection of antidotes is: "The path of seeing and meditation," etc., indicates that it is called eight. That is, merely things, and the two aspects of grasping based on the antidote, and the two aspects of grasping that are the basis of the person being real and the individual being imputed, that is, the four. The part of the imputed that becomes the object to be abandoned on the path of seeing, and the part of the co-emergent that becomes the object to be abandoned on the path of meditation, each two, that is, the eight, the antidotes to abandon those are, for any signless dharmas, not focusing on grasping as an object, and the purification from Prajnaparamita to non-mixture, not focusing on grasping as an object, and Arhats, Solitary Realizers, Bodhisattvas, etc., not focusing on grasping as a real person, and for the basis of imputation such as names, signs, symbols, terms, etc., not focusing on grasping as imputation, are the four antidotes to the conceptualization to be abandoned on the path of seeing. Since all dharmas are without abiding and non-abiding, not focusing, and whatever definitely arises, and not focusing on what definitely arises from, and not focusing on the reality of persons such as stream-enterers, and not focusing on the basis of imputation of those persons, are the antidotes to the conceptualization to be abandoned on the path of meditation, called eight. Fourth, accomplishing definite emergence is: "Intentionally doing," etc., meaning that it should be known. All dharmas are without anything in anything.

Specifically, through recognizing this, there are eight definitive arising practices: the specific things to do, the three mentioned earlier; understanding with wisdom that all phenomena are equal like the sky; accomplishing the benefit of sentient beings limitlessly with compassion; the two combined, effortlessly and spontaneously accomplishing the benefit of others; with the path of union, transcending the extremes of samsara and nirvana, non-abiding nirvana; thereby obtaining all the categories of abandonment and realization of the three vehicles; all phenomena in the nature of non-arising, becoming the direct perception of all aspects of knowledge; and the actual cause of direct perception, the peak of the uninterrupted path. Ultimate arising has seven in the path of no more learning, and one in the path of learning, totaling eight definitive arising practices. The boundaries of these four practices are: understanding practice begins from the path of accumulation, entering practice begins from the heat stage, accumulating practice begins from the peak stage with the first fifteen dharmas, the accumulation of grounds and antidotes is on the ten grounds. The difference of arising practice on the ten grounds lies in the path. The above three practices also exist from the initial boundary to the end of the continuum. Thus, these ten representative dharmas from generating bodhicitta to arising practice are indicated through the aspect of the object or cause, thereby completely revealing the all-aspect knowledge. In the Treatise on the Perfection of Wisdom Instructions, the Ornament for Clear Realization, this is the chapter on all-aspect knowledge, the first commentary. Second, elaborately explaining the limbs of the path knowledge that is the cause of attainment, divided into two: the limbs of the path and the path knowledge possessing limbs. The first is "the gods are capable" etc., up to "its activity," showing the basis for the arising of path knowledge and the difference of the path knowledge that is the basis. The first is that the light of the tathagatagarbha nature overwhelms the light of the ripening of the gods etc., making it dim, thereby making path knowledge the capable basis for arising in the continuum. For the gods, because there is pride in having beautiful appearance, having light etc., it is destroyed, thereby being cultivated into a vessel for path knowledge. Thus, it also shows that later followers generate path knowledge in the continuum by abandoning pride and timidity etc. The second is the difference of the path knowledge that is the basis, regarding the manner of arising.
