Ra explanation. The first attachment mentioned by the teacher is attachment to the nature of forms, etc. The second is attachment to the reasons for terms. The third is attachment to the proliferation of distinctions. The fourth is attachment to realization through ascertainment, etc. Fifth, the result of practicing in this way is the path of seeing. There are two reasons for explaining the actual path of seeing and not explaining the path of meditation. First, there are two aspects to the actual path of seeing: the path of seeing of the bodhisattvas that is explicitly taught, and the path of seeing of the hearers and solitary realizers that is implicitly taught. First, the explicitly taught path of seeing of the bodhisattvas is the direct seeing of the nature of the four truths by means of being free from the thirty-two imputations, including both positive and negative aspects, of the sixteen aspects of the four truths, such as permanence and impermanence, happiness and suffering, emptiness and non-emptiness, self and non-self. Second, the implicitly taught path of seeing of the hearers and solitary realizers is taught by following the explicitly taught path of seeing of the bodhisattvas, and meditating by being attached to the sixteen aspects, such as impermanence, which are the opposite of being free from the thirty-two imputations. Second, the reason for not explaining the path of meditation is stated in the Sunlight Sutra: "Furthermore, why is it that there is no wrong path of meditation for knowing the path itself, just as for knowing everything? The perfections of the hearers and solitary buddhas are surpassed by the bodhisattvas knowing and seeing them." Therefore, this is because it is primarily for the sake of others. And so on. That is to say, the realization of how the hearers and solitary buddhas realize is merely something to be known by the bodhisattvas, and not something to be repeatedly familiarized with. Therefore, the path of meditation, of how the bodhisattvas should meditate on the basis of the knowledge of the hearers and solitary buddhas, is not shown. So, why is the path of meditation of the hearers and solitary buddhas themselves, which is to familiarize themselves with what they have seen, not shown? Because even if it is not shown, it is easy to understand. When a bodhisattva shows the path of the hearers and solitary buddhas to others, it is sufficient to show that familiarizing oneself with what one has seen is the path of meditation, because one does not meditate on that path oneself. Sixth, the conclusion of the three knowledges is: Subhuti, this Prajnaparamita is such that there is no dharma to be obtained.

It is not to cause to obtain, it is not to cause not to obtain. Similarly, combining them, it is not to cause to appear, it is not to cause not to appear, giving or taking away, annihilation or permanence, one meaning or many meanings, coming or going, completely defiled or completely purified, decreasing or increasing. It is not past, it is not future, it is not happening now, this is the conclusion of the base knowledge. Subhuti, this Prajnaparamita is not to cause to completely transcend the desire realm, it is not to cause to abide. Similarly, it is the same for the other two realms. The perfection of generosity is not giving, it is not taking away stinginess. From this to omniscience, it is not giving or taking away.

It is not the omniscient wisdom that knows and expounds the true nature of all phenomena as truly established. Rather, it is the pacification of all elaborations of grasping at acceptance and rejection in samsara and nirvana, having realized that the very nature of all phenomena abides from the beginning, and thus expounding without addition or subtraction. This is omniscience, taught to sever attachment to what is to be attained and the means of attaining it. It concludes by explaining how the three wisdoms are taught and the necessity of teaching them. Here, the meaning of "completely taught the three wisdoms" in the commentaries is not that all the meanings taught in the context of the three wisdoms are fully taught here, but that the explanation of the three wisdoms is already complete. Moreover, the reason for concluding with the three wisdoms and not discussing the other five realizations is that the three wisdoms encompass all the meanings of the eight realizations, and are therefore the main ones. Furthermore, since it has already been explained in detail, the others have also been explained in essence. Even an antidote with attachment should be abandoned; if one realizes reality without attachment, there is no acceptance or rejection. The difference between attachment and non-attachment is like this: here, the acceptance and rejection of the bodhisattvas is explained. In the context of the basis of knowing all, the general meaning of the third chapter has been explained. Second, the detailed explanation of the four limbs of entering practice is divided into two parts: what is to be subdued, and the detailed explanation of the stable cause-and-effect limbs. The first part is divided into two parts: the cause of subduing, all aspects, and the detailed explanation of the limb of the peak, the fruit of what is to be subdued. The first part, the detailed explanation of the cause of subduing, all aspects, is divided into two parts: generating a special practice in the continuum, and the stages of meditation of a special practice that has arisen in the continuum. First, generating a special practice in the continuum is divided into four parts: the aspects of the object to be practiced, the person who practices, the nature of the practice itself, and the preliminary practices. First, explaining the aspects of the object to be practiced is divided into two parts: the general meaning and the meaning of the limbs. First, the general meaning is divided into four parts: the identification of the aspects, how it is spoken of in the sutras, how it is summarized in the treatises, and how to meditate on it. First, the identification of the aspects is: the differences or clear distinctions between all defiled and purified phenomena.
