Those who take up armor for the sake of sentient beings should rise into the open sky. And those great Bodhisattvas who seek unsurpassed perfect enlightenment for the sake of sentient beings should attain great diligence. This is the union of the three difficult deeds. Then, another monk thought: To that Bhagavati-mother in whom no dharma arises or ceases, yet who can be established as the aggregate of discipline, and even as the turning of the wheel of Dharma, I pay homage. This is the union with fruit. If a son or daughter of good family abides in the mother as taught, then she will become their protection, refuge, and concealment. This is the union that does not depend on others. Great Bodhisattvas, how long will it take to know all dharmas like dreams, illusions, mirages, echoes, reflections, water moons, cities of gandharvas, and emanations by practicing the Mother Prajnaparamita? As an answer to Indra's question to Subhuti, if these seven do not have the four prides, then they will know in that way. In this context, regarding the meaning of form, etc., being complete or incomplete, the Ornament of Manifestation says: Because of being empty of characteristics, imputed form is not completely complete. Because of being endowed with a collection of qualities, the form of reality is perfectly complete. If one explains completeness and incompleteness as the basis of qualities because qualities arise and do not arise, this is not the intention (of the sutra) because it is said that emptiness of characteristics is the reason for incompleteness. So, what is (the intention of the sutra)? Imputed form is merely fabricated as form by conceptual thought, so it is not established by its own characteristics or essence, and therefore it does not exist in reality. The form of reality is the nature of form, which is emptiness imputed by conceptual thought, because it exists inseparably with the qualities of self-purification, so it is called complete or existing in reality. The three difficult deeds are, in order: difficult to do for the sake of omniscience, difficult to generate the wisdom of the path in the continuum, and difficult to show the basis of wisdom to others. At the time of union, taking these three difficult deeds as the object, one knows that there is no obtainer, object to be obtained, etc., like the sky, but the three difficult deeds themselves are not the union. In the context of the seven aspects of knowable phenomena

There are also four. And where do they appear? They appear in the post-attainment of a Bodhisattva. What appears? The inner and outer things appear. How do they appear? Like a dream. What is the reason? Because the sleep of habit completely transforms consciousness to appear in that way. Combine the following four characteristics as well: Because they arise from the combined gathering of the mantra and medicine of ignorance, they are like illusions. Because they appear to be true but do not exist, they appear contradictory, so they are like mirages. Because they depend on conditions and appear, they are like echoes. Because the inner habits are like establishing the image of the way of knowables, they appear without exceeding the way they are projected, so they are like eye ailments. In short, these are called images, and when ornaments appear, they are called eye ailments. For minor harms, such as when a person with eye ailments sees hair falling out, or some explain it as a rapidly spinning fire wheel, etc. Because there is no basis for abiding, they appear on their own, so they are like Gandharva cities. Because the actions of body and speech appear only as being without cause, they are like emanations, making seven in total. Through these seven ways, Bodhisattvas know that all phenomena are similar to these, so they are called the seven knowable appearances. That is, in the post-attainment, one should know that all phenomena are like illusions. If there is still attachment to such illusory phenomena, it is necessary to refute them through the four ways of non-pride. These ten combinations, although Shengqiang believes that by abandoning each manifestation of attachment, one can progress from higher to higher, in reality, they are only distinguished from the perspective of the object, and their nature is without attachment, being one. Second, the combination of Hearers and Solitary Realizers is implied: How was it before? Contrary to what was said before, 'restricting behavior and meditating,' now it is meditating with attachment. Second, the manner of that combination is: By realizing the equality of object and subject, one meditates on those combinations. Furthermore, Bodhisattvas do not regard form as self, do not cling to form as self, do not regard form as mine, do not cling to form as mine, and so on until omniscience is attained. Regarding this, for forms that are not truly established, one does not think, 'This is form,' nor 'This form will accomplish such and such a thing,' nor 'I will do such and such benefit or harm to form.' This is explained as a minor harm. The third case is that one does not cling to larger things as belonging to master and servant.
