It is the adornment of all mothers, because the three, extensive, intermediate, and concise, of the Holy Mother, have gathered the realizations of the four types of individuals. Secondly, explaining the necessity of the branch of entering the treatise with contemplation, there are three: necessity, summary, and the meaning of the words. First, the necessity is: the subject matter, necessity, ultimate necessity, and the four relationships of this treatise, to dispel the four doubts that they are almost non-existent, and to generate the four wavering confusions that they are almost existent, and then to enter the treatise with contemplation. As it is said: Why do worldly seekers enter even from confusion? Likewise, certainty arises in the dull-witted, and doubt arises in the sharp-witted, and the way to enter the treatise from doubt is also like this: when the words of necessity and relationship are established before the body of the treatise, one thinks, 'How does this word make a vow?', and enters the treatise, examining whether it exists or not. If it exists, one enters, and if it does not, one turns back. Secondly, the meaning of the summary is divided into three: determining the four necessities and relationships, the way they are expressed in words, and determining the number of the four objects to be taught. The first is divided into three: mere words, words of necessity and relationship, and the necessity and relationship that exists in the body of the treatise. First, the necessity and relationship that exists in mere words is: all true words can be considered to have four necessities and relationships. The object to be taught by the words that show the truth of the meaning is the subject matter, and the understanding of it that arises from it is the necessity, and the accomplishment of the purpose of the individual that arises from it is the ultimate necessity, and the relationship between them is the relationship. Secondly, the four necessities and relationships that exist in the words of necessity and relationship are: The necessity and relationship that exists in the body of the treatise is the subject matter, and the doubt or certainty that arises in contemplation from the words is the necessity, and the entering into the treatise from it is the ultimate necessity, and the aspect of the relationship is that the latter does not arise without the former. The third is taught in the text. Secondly, the way of expressing in words is: if one makes direct and indirect expression according to the main and secondary, then the ultimate necessity is directly expressed, and the others are indirectly expressed. If one makes it according to what is expressed and not expressed by words, then the relationship is indirectly expressed, and the other three are directly expressed. Thirdly, the determination of the number is: the four obstacles to entering the treatise with contemplation.

Thus, for this, there is no need; even if there is, it cannot be accomplished; even if it can be accomplished, it is not what the noble ones desire; even if it is, it is thought that there are other easier ways to accomplish it; or it is thought that it is not related to this. For this, unlike a crow peeping, it is universally necessary; this necessity, unlike a treatise that takes the crown of a king, can be accomplished; the necessity that can be accomplished, unlike taking a widow as a wife, is the supreme meaning of life; the method of accomplishing the supreme meaning is also not like a sacrifice of livestock for the sake of ascending to heaven, which is unrelated to the treatise, but it is determined as four because one enters merely by seeing that it is related to this treatise. It cannot be more than this, nor can it be less. Some say that in the commentary on the Hevajra Tantra, five kinds of perfect expressions are mentioned, as well as the expression of nature, and three kinds of necessity and relationship, so it is said that it is not a fixed number of more or less, but this is unreasonable. Because for those who have realization, the perfection of expression is not the main thing, and saying three is because they want to combine the two necessities to say. Third, the meaning of words has three aspects: the nature of the treatise that has four aspects such as necessity, its etymological explanation, and the true meaning of the words. First, the nature of the treatise has two aspects: showing other schools and identifying the reasonable aspects. The first is, in the Abhidharmakosha, it says: "Eighty-four thousand aggregates of Dharma, all that the Buddha spoke, are words or names, and they are all contained in form and action." Considering the meaning of the three aggregates as the nature of the Buddha's words, this is consistent with both the Vaibhashika and Sautrantika schools, but the Sautrantika school considers the three aggregates as a series of general sounds, so it is not complete; the Vaibhashika school considers these three as the sound self-nature of the knowledge of language, so it is considered to be contained in form, so these two schools consider the treatise to be a material entity. The logicians, on the other hand, consider the actual expression to be the general sound, and the adhered expression to be the sound self-nature. The second is divided into two: the definitions of the Buddha's words and the treatise. The first is, the two form bodies that appear as the teacher of Dharma, and the twelve parts of scripture that appear as what he taught, are merely other appearances of the beings to be tamed.
