The ten afflictions that are abandoned due to fear of what is not the place, these two are wrong entry. This should be understood through three ways: directly, indirectly through mind turning wrong, and wrong entry by force. Among these, direct wrong entry is the first two views and the last view, which are three views, and ignorance and doubt, which are two non-views, these five are direct wrong entry into the truth. The order is, clinging to self and what belongs to self in truth, clinging to permanence and annihilation, denying the characteristics of truth, or adding to the characteristics of truth differently from what is said, being ignorant of the nature of truth, and having doubts about whether these are as they are said, because these afflictions are not interrupted by other afflictions and are grasped in a reversed way. In the Compendium, it is said that doubt is wrong entry into the antidote, which means that the four truths are the object of the antidote. The second is that the two views of holding to the best in views, and the two non-views of desire and pride, these four are indirect wrong entry. The order is, adding to the view of direct wrong entry, regarding bad conduct related to wrong views as purification, liberation, and definite departure, filling the mind with wrong views, and being greedy for wrong views, because these afflictions are interrupted by other ways of focusing between the truth and are grasped in a reversed way. The third is that anger is wrong entry by force, because for views that are inconsistent with one's own views, it is wrong entry due to the force of always feeling distressed. Second, the abandonment of cultivation is divided into two from the perspective of the ground: nature and difference. First, the common nature is: any unknowing thing that becomes the object to be abandoned by the path of cultivation. The nature of its afflictive obscuration and cognitive obscuration is: the order is, any affliction and non-afflictive unknowing thing that becomes the object to be abandoned by the path of cultivation. Second, there are two ways of explaining, the first is according to the view of the Compendium: there are six abandonments of cultivation in the desire realm, namely: destructible view, extreme view, desire, anger, pride, and ignorance. In the upper realm, there are only five without anger. If divided by ground, there are forty-six, that is, six in the desire realm, and forty in the eight grounds of the form and formless realms. If divided by ground and size, then the anger of each of the nine grounds

Belonging to the five (afflictions), divided into nine nines, then five times eighty-one, and dividing anger towards desire into nine parts, then four hundred and fourteen. Second, according to the view of the Abhidharma-kośa, from the perspective of self-nature, there are four types: desire, anger, pride, and ignorance. On top of that, anger is eliminated, then three threes, if divided by realms, then ten types. If divided by grounds and sizes, then two hundred and fifty-two types. This is a view that only considers what is to be abandoned by the path of seeing according to the Vaibhāṣika school. The former is in the explanation of the "Five Skandhas" chapter, the last three views, and doubt is only conceptually imputed, and the rest are both conceptually imputed and innate. Thus, the Sautrāntika school is also like that. Third, analyzing the characteristics of such divisions: What is to be abandoned by the path of seeing is a coarse part produced by evil doctrines deluding the mind, so it is abandoned merely by directly seeing the truth, so it is explained from the perspective of truth in the form of wrong views. What is to be abandoned by the path of meditation, although not conceptually imputed by evil doctrines, is a subtle part of the innate that has followed since beginningless time, so after seeing the truth, it needs to be abandoned gradually from large to small through habituation, and it cannot be abandoned merely by seeing, so it is divided into large, medium, and small from the perspective of grounds. The meaning of calling what is to be abandoned by the path of seeing and what is to be abandoned by the path of meditation as conceptually imputed and innate is: not changing the mind and changing the mind by externalist doctrines, it should not be understood in terms of manifestation and latency. In this way, what is to be abandoned by the path of seeing is wrong views about the truth, and what is to be abandoned by the path of meditation is wrong views about objects. In the Compendium of Topics and the Abhidharma-kośa, what is to be abandoned by the path of seeing is divided into two different types, which is the difference between coarse and subtle. In the case of the Mahāyāna, both what is to be abandoned by the path of seeing and what is to be abandoned by the path of meditation should be acknowledged as the view of the Abhidharma-kośa. Fourth, how to practice is divided into two: how to abandon what is to be abandoned by the path of seeing? In the Compendium of Topics and the Abhidharma-kośa it is said: what is to be abandoned by the path of seeing of the suffering truth of the desire realm is abandoned by two types: dharma-kṣānti and dharma-jñāna. What is to be abandoned by the path of seeing of the suffering truth of the upper realms is abandoned by two types: anvaya-kṣānti and anvaya-jñāna. The remaining truths are also the same, the antidotes of the upper and lower realms are different. This is the view of the Śrāvakas. The view of the Abhidharma-kośa will be explained below. Second, there are three ways to abandon what is to be abandoned by the path of meditation. The form spoken from the Abhidharma, its
