If there is no object to be grasped, then clinging cannot exist either, therefore, immediately abandon attachment to the distraction of clinging, and attain that immediate samadhi, which is called immediate samadhi. This samadhi immediately enters the first ground, therefore it is called immediate samadhi, which is the supreme Dharma. Thus, the first three obtain certainty of meditation on non-grasping, but because of clinging to mere mind, the distraction of clinging has not subsided. The fourth does not even cling to mere mind, therefore it obtains certainty of meditation on non-clinging. Therefore, these four are particularly inclined towards the meaning of selflessness, therefore they are also called adhimukticarya. Second, classification: From the perspective of essence, there are four: heat, peak, forbearance, and supreme Dharma. From the perspective of great, medium, and small, there are twelve, because each has three. Furthermore, heat and peak, and forbearance and supreme Dharma, with regard to Dharma, there are three types of forbearance with certainty of mind towards Dharma: great, medium, and small. Third, examining what the wisdom that is divided is: The samadhi of the path of application does not wish to directly realize the meaning of selflessness, because if afflictive emotions manifest in the continuum of an ordinary being, there is a possibility of faults. Because when the wisdom that directly realizes selflessness manifests, it contradicts the manifestation of the view of self. Therefore, in the path of application, focusing on selflessness is because the general meaning of selflessness appears, and one generates faith in it, thereby measuring the wisdom of the general meaning that is clung to, therefore it is a conceptual thought in which sound and meaning appear. In the path of accumulation, there is also a decisive consciousness of remembering in this way for the intention of not forgetting the meaning of the four truths, and there is also subsequent inference for some distinctions of selflessness. Thus, although the nature of the path of application itself is mistaken consciousness, it is not mistaken consciousness in all aspects like ordinary consciousness, it is said that the path of application is the cause of the completely pure realm of Dharma, and is a subsequent inference relying on reasons such as one and other being separate. Because it arises from the increase of habits corresponding to hearing. Observing the key point of this meaning, conforming and inverted, conforming with connection and preventing, not inverted and inverted, cultivating conforming without connection. As the meaning spoken by the venerable one, when explaining it, the great wise one.

The illusion that follows without being confused by worldly conventions is the path of cultivation for ordinary beings, related to the abandonment of cultivation of inversions, its own nature not being confused is the path of cultivation for noble learners, and that which has neither inversion nor subsequent connection is said to be the path of cultivation for non-learners. In the commentary, it is also said that the first is from mindfulness to the cultivation of strength, and the second is the cultivation of the seven branches of enlightenment and the branches of the path. Therefore, regarding the view that the nature of reality is directly realized by ordinary perception, the wise abandon even hearing about it. The all-knowing Shantarakshita said, "All worldly views, the mind is deluded by them, therefore no real thing can be established by direct perception." And, the regent of the Buddha said, "Because it is subtle, it is not an object of hearing, because it is ultimate truth, it is not an object of thought, because the nature of reality is profound, it is not an object of worldly meditation, etc., because like a blind person to form, a child has never seen it before." Thus, it is promised. Fourth, the differences of the Mahayana path of joining are three: object, aspect, and cause. Like the number of four discriminations, there are four to be abandoned, co-emergent conceptualization, and the difference of relying on a virtuous spiritual friend. First, the differences of object, aspect, and cause are: the object is the four truths distinguished by impermanence, etc., preventing all attachment to the appearance of aspects, that is, the aspect that conforms to the selflessness of phenomena. The cause is the cause of generating all the lineages of realization of the three vehicles. Second, the difference of co-emergent conceptualization has two: conceptualization to be abandoned, and the antidote to be abandoned. First, explaining the conceptualization to be abandoned has seven: the nature of what is conceptualized, the object of what is conceptualized, the way of how it is conceptualized, the divisions of conceptualization, the determination of number, the determination of order, and the calculation of limits. First, there are two: general and specific thought. First, general thought is, in the Abhidharmakosha, it says, "Conceptualization and analysis are coarse and peaceful." It is a coarse aspect, and in the Pramanavarttika, it says, "Whatever knowledge grasps sound and meaning, that is conceptualization of it." It is grasping names and meanings as interchangeable, and in the Madhyantavibhaga, it says, "Unreal imagination is mind and mental factors, the three realms." It is the realm of the two grasps to be abandoned.
