Base: If it is said that entering the Arhat state with the bodies of males and females of the three continents is like Tögal (direct crossing), then it is unreasonable to say that it is not similar to this. If it is said that these two "Tögals" have the same name but different meanings, then there is no fault. Second, there are two types of objects to be abandoned: the apprehended and the apprehender. First, there are two types of the apprehended: entering the apprehended and returning from the apprehended. The first has nine types, of which the Sutra and Extensive explanations are: If the Tathagata teaches these dharmas in the form of Sutras and Extensive explanations, then it should be known that in order to attain the Unsurpassed Perfect Enlightenment, one should fully understand these six Paramitas in the form of Sutras and Extensive explanations. Thus it is said. The Buddha's teaching is: In countless worlds, how many Buddhas, Bhagavat, abide, protect, and teach the Dharma, please also remember those beings who practice the Great Mother. Thus it is said. The Buddha's teaching is: The meaning is the same as translated as "together with the protector of the Buddha" in Ornament for Clear Realization, Lamp for the Path, and Difficult Points. The merits of the three times are: It should be known that the Mahayana practitioner who abides in the Mother who is taught in this way will not regress. Thus it is said, this is the merit of the Path of Application. And "manifestly realizing the Mother," this is the merit of the Path of Seeing. And "cultivating the Mother," it should be known that this is the merit of the Path of Cultivation. Thus the merits of the Path of Cultivation are explained. The three good paths are: practicing the Mother through pacifying form, relying on form, accumulating form, and form having no essence. Thus it is said. Because the object prevents inverted things, it is pacified. Because it is produced by conditions, it is impermanent. Because its nature is emptiness, it is accumulated. Because it cannot withstand examination, it is without essence. This is the Path of Application. Realizing emptiness like space, manifesting the Mother by manifestly realizing space emptiness, this is the Path of Seeing. Cultivating by seeing the nature, cultivating the Mother by cultivating space emptiness, this is the Path of Cultivation. In this context, the root verses say "not held by the Buddha's teaching" and "without the merits of the three times," the Twenty-five Thousand Verse, Eight Thousand Verse, Extensive Sutra, etc.

Not knowing, and without the teachings of the Buddha, and without the merits of the three paths, is called the conceptualization of not knowing these three. Thus, what is said in the sutras are the antidotes to these. Regarding the absence of the merits of the three times, some teachers also associate the past with the path of application, the present with the path of seeing, and the future with the path of cultivation, saying that the past is cessation, the future is unborn, and the present is unarisen, which is said to be the absence of the merits of the three times. However, in the "Sunlight Treatise," it is generally done in the three times of the path of application, the path of seeing, and the path of cultivation, and it is not associated with the past and so on. The absence of the Buddha's teachings and the absence of the merits of the three times, because they cannot be used as a place to enter, must be removed from these three. This is what is said in the "Hundred Thousand Verses." Second, the reversal is the conceptualization of grasping. The sutra explains by showing nine aspects of antidotes and reversals. That is, if one practices the Mother Prajnaparamita for a long time, how long must one practice to be considered practicing the Mother? The Blessed One replied: From the first arising of the mind of enlightenment, one must continuously practice. This is the antidote to not arising the mind. Until one abides under the Bodhi tree, one must practice the Mother. This is the antidote to not remembering the essence of enlightenment. Do not give other objects of attention a chance, one must practice the Mother. This is the antidote to the two objects of attention of the Hearers and Solitary Realizers. Do not abandon the attention to all-knowing wisdom, just as the mind and mental factors do not enter, one must practice the Mother. This is the antidote to not remembering complete enlightenment. Can one attain all-knowing wisdom through cultivation? The Blessed One replied: Subhuti, it is not so. This is the antidote to cultivation. Then, can one attain all-knowing wisdom without cultivation? He replied: It is not so. This is the antidote to the absence of cultivation. Then, can one attain all-knowing wisdom by cultivating and also not cultivating? The Blessed One replied: It is not so. This is the antidote to being liberated from cultivation and non-cultivation. Then, how can one attain all-knowing wisdom? The Blessed One replied: Suchness is as it is. This is the antidote to not being the meaning of suchness, there are nine in total. Second, for the conceptualization of grasping, there are two types: the conceptualization of grasping at substance and the conceptualization of grasping at imputation. First, there are nine types of grasping at substance, in the sutra, as before, through the method of antidotes.
