Regarding the explanation of the three views in the "Thirty Verses," the former is the view of the Noble One (Asanga), and the latter is the view of the Master (Vasubandhu). Therefore, these four application peaks are also: first, attainment; in the middle, increasing and becoming autonomous; and finally, abiding without straying from the object. Second, the peak of the path of seeing has two: what is to be abandoned and the antidote. First, what is to be abandoned has two: the apprehension of the object and the apprehension of the subject. First, the apprehension of the object has two: discrimination and the antidote. First, discrimination has four: the nature of discrimination, showing as a non-common aspect, classification, and proving as delusion. First, the nature of discrimination has two: the state of a Bodhisattva's entry not focusing on characteristics, and the very nature of its return focusing on characteristics. These are, in order, the nature itself and falling into existence and peace, etc. The aspect is the apprehension of what is to be taken because one wants to take the Dharma of Bodhisattvas and Buddhas. Thus, clinging, and wanting to abandon the Dharma of Hearers and Solitary Realizers, thus, the apprehension of what is to be abandoned. Thus, clinging is the two discriminations that discriminate on the apprehension of entering and returning in order. Second, showing as a non-common aspect is: these two are the non-common aspect of the peak of the path of seeing, because they are to be abandoned. For example, similar to the afflictions to be abandoned on the path of seeing. Third, the classification is: each of these two discriminations has nine, which is the classification by the existence of nine objects. Fourth, proving as delusion is: these nine multiplied by two have eighteen, which should be known as the nature of clinging to objects as they are not, because one's own object appears as inverted. For example, like someone who has eaten Datura engaging in taking a golden needle in the sky, this is an entry that is not related to the reality of the object, that is, like clinging, because the object does not abide. Second, the antidotes are nine: First, the nine antidotes to the apprehension of the object of entry are: First, contemplating emptiness from the Prajnaparamita Sutra to Omniscience is the antidote to contemplating nature. Second, just as one does not think of some sky as near or far, not thinking of Omniscience and the two grounds as near or far is the antidote to contemplating lineage. Third, just as an illusory person does not think of the magician and the audience as near or far, not thinking of the inferior and superior paths as near or far is the contemplation of the path being accomplished as it is
