Whatever appearances arise, do not affirm or deny them, do not generate thoughts of liking or disliking, but maintain the samadhi. Similarly, if the root (referring to the samaya vows) is violated, or in reality, dreams, or experiences, fierce wild animals or malevolent non-humans (referring to the eight classes of beings such as nagas) appear, doing anything unpleasant, these are experiences. Similarly, if countless Buddhas and Bodhisattvas appear and teach the Dharma, prophecies, etc., these are also experiences. If sons and daughters of the gods offer worship, etc., these are also experiences, so do not affirm or deny them, but maintain the samadhi. If there are signs and indications that are not experiences, then by indicating the signs of the three types of distinctions, make a decision: if it is a yidam, then pray for accomplishment; if it is an experience, then maintain the original state; if it is a non-human, etc., then observe, reveal which ones will become aids to practice, and take methods to expel those that create obstacles. If countless sights and sounds arise, then take the first sight that arises as the object of focus, do not let the mind enter into anything else, but abide in it. Then, if that sight disappears, then also abide in the sight that arises after that. If it also disappears, then take the newly arising sight as the object of focus. Just like that, as long as the sight exists, continue as before. Do not deliberately adjust the posture of the body and the way of looking. Do not let the mind be too tense, but in a state of complete relaxation of body and mind, maintain the posture of the body and the way of looking without deviation, and do not lose the unscattered mindfulness, this is very important. If the body feels uncomfortable, then at noon or on an empty stomach, do the exercises that are beneficial for the condition. In addition, diseases such as cold or heat may also arise, and for these conditions, medical treatment should be taken. Third, relying on the nature of the mind to practice samadhi: visualize your own yidam in blue color, in its heart there is the nature of Guru Akshobhya (Tibetan: མི་བསྐྱོད་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अचल, Sanskrit Romanization: Acala, Chinese literal meaning: Immovable One), also in blue color. In its heart, on a moon disc, there is a blue Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: seed syllable), on the ground directly in front of the tip of the nose, there is a blue bindu. The way all of these abide, the ornaments and hand gestures, etc., are as before. In place of the yidam at the eyebrow center, visualize on top of the moon disc, a blue vajra with nine prongs, clear and ethereal, appearing but without inherent existence. The Hūṃ in the Guru's heart, the bindu on the ground, and the vajra, these three, as before, are taken as the object of focus, and abide in it. Rising and walking... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
