And where to apply the pressure? Do not apply pressure continuously for too long, but take occasional rests and meditate. Like that, when the practice of vase breathing (a type of breath control) becomes proficient, in the state of meditating on vase breathing, as before, in the center of the chakras of the navel, heart, throat, and crown, visualize clearly the four syllables: ཨཾ (Tibetan, Devanagari: अं, Romanized Sanskrit: aṃ, Literal meaning: Seed syllable), ཧཱུཾ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हूं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Seed syllable), ཨོཾ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ओं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal meaning: Seed syllable), ཧཾ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हं, Romanized Sanskrit: haṃ, Literal meaning: Seed syllable). Then, from the wind residing in the chakra of the secret place, ignite the fire, visualize the syllable ཨཾ (Tibetan, Devanagari: अं, Romanized Sanskrit: aṃ, Literal meaning: Seed syllable) of the nature of tummo (kundalini), the light of the burning flame rising upwards from the central channel (dhyuti), causing the three syllables ཧཾ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हं, Romanized Sanskrit: haṃ, Literal meaning: Seed syllable), ཨོཾ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ओं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal meaning: Seed syllable), ཧཱུཾ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हूं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Seed syllable) to melt, descending to the syllable ཨཾ (Tibetan, Devanagari: अं, Romanized Sanskrit: aṃ, Literal meaning: Seed syllable) at the navel, becoming inseparable from it, visualize it as the syllable ཨཾ (Tibetan, Devanagari: अं, Romanized Sanskrit: aṃ, Literal meaning: Seed syllable) of the nature of co-emergent bliss, and maintain focus. When the mind is focused on this, visualize that from that short syllable ཨཾ (Tibetan, Devanagari: अं, Romanized Sanskrit: aṃ, Literal meaning: Seed syllable), the subtle fire of tummo exists like a single flame. Through the light of that flame, from the position of the upper chakras, the bodhicitta melts, and nectar descends, filling the syllable ཨཾ (Tibetan, Devanagari: अं, Romanized Sanskrit: aṃ, Literal meaning: Seed syllable) at the navel, and meditate until you see the sign of the mind being one-pointedly focused on the syllable ཨཾ (Tibetan, Devanagari: अं, Romanized Sanskrit: aṃ, Literal meaning: Seed syllable), gaining stability. When the mind is stable, visualize that the light of tummo illuminates everything inside and outside the body, as well as the dwelling place, etc., as clearly as a myrobalan fruit in the palm of your hand. It is crucial to focus on the flame that has become subtle and like a single tongue of fire. Thus practicing, the way prana enters the central channel and experiences the three phases of abiding, staying, and dissolving. The aim is thus Thus practicing, the way prana enters the central channel and experiences the three phases of abiding, staying, and dissolving is: after being able to sustain meditation, identify the moment when the breath has just shifted, flowing through either of your nostrils. Then, through the strength of the body posture and the way of focusing the mind as before, before long, when examining the nostrils, you will find that the breath alternates between the left and right nostrils, and this alternation is not always regular, sometimes once, sometimes twice, and if there are no other obstacles, it usually alternates. Moreover, when the flow of breath in the left and right nostrils is not equally strong, you will find that the strength becomes equal. If this occurs, it can be considered that through the power of yoga, one is able to introduce prana into the central channel. However, once it has entered, it will not alternate between the left and right nostrils. This is when prana enters the central channel. From this stage of prana abiding in the central channel, begin the practice of drawing in. When the flow of breath in the nostrils becomes weak, observe carefully, and you will find that even the subtle breath will cease. Regarding whether the dissolving of prana is difficult or easy, if it is difficult, you will immediately feel the abdomen filling with air, and then it will calm down. Once it has calmed down, a special warmth will arise from the navel and the secret place, which is where the fire resides. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
