Through the correct view being determined, and through the meditation of meditating on the correct meaning as the object, it is not possible to practice during the path, and it is not emptiness that is without anything, neither knowable nor provable. In short, for the individual (Pudgala) who clings to 'I', through analyzing whether the aggregates (Skandha) and self-nature are one or different, one should firmly establish the certainty that the individual has no self-nature at all, and practice more in the aspect of emptiness. Then, allow the names of the individual that cannot be denied to appear in the mind, and pay attention to the aspects of dependent origination from which one is established as the accumulator and experiencer of results, and gain certainty in the reasons why dependent origination is reasonable without self-nature. When these two appear contradictory, take images and so on as examples, and think about the way they are not contradictory. For example, although the image of a face appears empty in terms of eyes, nose, etc., it arises dependent on the face and the mirror, and when some of those conditions are reversed, it also disappears, and these two are undeniably present on the same basis. Similarly, for the individual, even if there is not a particle of self-nature, it is not contradictory to be the accumulator of actions and the experiencer of results, and to arise dependent on previous actions and afflictions, etc. Practice in this way. When there is firm certainty about this, one should learn to see the container as a palace and the contents as deities, and learn to see this as the manifestation of indivisible bliss and emptiness. In this way, everything that appears is the body of the deity, the body of the deity is like an illusion, and the illusion arises as the realm of great bliss, which is the threefold order of knowable things. Again, when great bliss is attained in equipoise, one should remember the view of having a good understanding of emptiness, and place one-pointed concentration on it, generating non-conceptual wisdom, and thus alternate between meditative equipoise and subsequent attainment. **How to Meditate on the Illusion of Dreams** Second, there are four ways to meditate on the illusion of dreams: 1. Grasping the dream; 2. Practicing and expanding; 3. Abandoning the inferior and learning illusion; 4. Meditating on the suchness of dreams. **Grasping the Dream** First, there are two ways to grasp the dream: Grasping the dream by the power of wind means that when one is awake, the wind enters the central channel (Avadhuti) and dissolves, so that one who is able to draw out the four emptinesses does this. The method is that when one initially grasps the clear light of sleep, if one knows and protects the four emptinesses of sleep well, then one will certainly know that dreams will appear outside of that. Therefore, for dreams, there is no other method than grasping the emptinesses of sleep. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
