Regarding the detailed explanation of blameless conduct, it is mentioned in 'Ornament of the Heart': 'Illness, loss of power, affairs, the affairs of others, important matters, the necessity of the unborn teaching, obtaining ability, permission, commands, and obstacles, know that these are blameless.' Third, summarizing the meaning of how to serve: Here, what is the use of saying much? One should do what pleases the guru, and abandon all that displeases him; one should strive for this. 'All accomplishments follow the Vajra Master,' thus spoke the Vajradhara. Knowing this, one should please the guru with all things. As it is said, when serving the guru, what is the use of saying much? One should grasp the essence of serving the guru. That is, one should know what pleases the guru and practice it; one should know what causes displeasure to the guru and abandon it, and strive for this. By acting in this way, all accomplishments follow the pleasure of the Vajra Master, that is, following the guru's actions. The Vajradhara said this, knowing this, one should please the guru with all things of body, speech, and mind. In the 'Vajra Heart Ornament Tantra' it also says: 'Therefore, by all means, one should please the Vajradhara Guru by being in accordance with him. Pleasing him pleases all the Buddhas.' Second, the time for explaining how to serve: 'A disciple with a pure mind, having taken refuge in the Three Jewels, should be given this method of following the guru for the purpose of recitation.' As it is said, it should be given as something to be given. What should be given? That is, abandoning autonomy and following the guru's method of service. Why give it? For the purpose of recitation, that is, in order not to forget the words of this text, to recite it repeatedly, and to know its meaning, to remember and apply it, and to act properly. To whom should it be given? To the disciple. What kind of disciple? One who possesses two special qualities: First, one who has taken refuge in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, that is, one who possesses the uncommon vows of refuge. Second, one who has a pure mind, that is, one who has properly generated the two aspects of Bodhicitta, aspiration and engagement. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

观想从pAM(藏文:པཾ,梵文天城体:प,梵文罗马拟音:pam,汉语字面意思:莲花)字生出的丑陋形体,罪恶从鼻孔排出,然后观想忿怒尊之形,观想其吞噬一切。’

This treatise is expounded to train well in the common path to enlightenment. As for how to thoroughly train in the two aspects of refuge and bodhicitta (enlightenment mind), I have already extensively established it in the 'Stages of the Path to Enlightenment'. Following this, 'Then, by the blessings of mantras, etc., one becomes a vessel for the sacred Dharma.' After teaching how to rely on the guru, it is said that one becomes a vessel for the path of mantra. Therefore, if one wishes to enter the door of mantra after training in the common path, one must rely on the vajra master and vajra disciple in this way. This is the intention of the treatise. Therefore, the great translator Drogmi Lotsawa, when teaching Sitagön, maintained that after taking refuge and generating bodhicitta, he would teach the 'Fifty Verses' before the actual practice on the following day. However, Mal Gyö Lotsawa said that it is good that Naropa's view is that this treatise should be taught before one has trained in the common path and does not want to become a master and disciple of mantra. The order in which this treatise guides disciples is in accordance with the 'Compendium of Trainings' and is also extremely important, as I have already explained in the 'Stages of the Path'. If one says that it is not appropriate to teach the 'Fifty Verses' before receiving the empowerment of mantra, because it would be a fault of divulging secrets, there is no fault, because the unique Dharma language of mantra is very rare in this treatise, and even those that exist and their explanations are only brief and unclear. Furthermore, for example, when a disciple initially requests empowerment, if the offerings are not assembled, in order to protect him, it is said that some deity meditation and recitation are done before the empowerment, which is not considered divulging secrets. Similarly, here too, it is done at the beginning for those who have trained in the common path and want to enter mantra, and not for just anyone. As it is said in the forty-sixth chapter of 'Distinguishing the Stages of Vajra Dakini': 'In the soles of the disciple's feet, contemplate a circle of wind like a bow. In the navel, a fire of wisdom blazes. Its rays blaze in the heart. Contemplate blazing and pervading everywhere.' 'The ugly form arising from PAM (藏文:པཾ,梵文天城体:प,梵文罗马拟音:pam,汉语字面意思:Lotus), expel sins through the nostrils. Then contemplate the form of the wrathful one, contemplate him devouring everything.' And, 'Having generated the form of the deity to be accomplished, one should set up protections.' It is said in many texts that the deity is Samantabhadra (All Good), and one should generate his form. The teacher himself silently performs this contemplation for the disciple. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
