This essence sutra of fire, Should be cherished and recited like gold. All suffering and negativity, And the obstructing forces caused by disease and faults, All of them can be purified, All power and strength arise from it. By reciting this, the King of Kongtse, Will not encounter obstacles or hindrances. The god of the fire element will protect, And he will be able to increase merit and power. The suffering caused by fire will be pacified, And the obstacles of evil karma and demons will be subdued. Therefore, the benefits of reciting are great. At that time, from the heat of fire, The wheel of the water element is formed. Because it moistens everything, it is called water, Water pervades everything, Water offers great abundance. Water accomplished in the work of emanation, A treasury of nectar with four varieties, The water god accomplished by nectar, The best of water, appearing in many forms. Accomplished by the power of the water element, Strong iron, great heat, is the nature of water, From the color of powerful water, Flesh and blood of sentient beings in samsara are created. You, water, reside in body and mind, The nectar of water is the nature of water, The wheel is the moisture of powerful water, The moisturizing water nourishes the elements. Possessing the bindu that perfects the three channels, Holding the bindu that never diminishes, The unchanging bindu relies on fire, The essence of fire is held by wind. Because water creates everything, it is called water, The nature of movement is gathered in its essence, The gathered stream of water never runs dry, Like an ocean, it is the nature of water, In its essence, it is the basis of unwavering movement. Thus were formed the seven oceans. Thus were formed the elements of the extensive and increasing sutras. The great deity of the water element is the chief. From water, nectar naturally gathers. Gathering and clarifying its inherent power. With moistening water, the aggregates are created. With nectar water, the aggregates are nourished. With all-accomplishing water, the fruits are nurtured. With desiring water, ignorance is purified. The king of the water deities possesses a wheel. Possessing five wheels, he unfolds his activities. The tree of the five wisdoms grows. It is the Suchness of the Gone Beyond. Possessing six consciousnesses, it is the essence of the aggregates. Essence-possessing, essence-increasing is the water element. The nature of water is cold and cool. Possessing the light of the moon, it is thus clear. He nourishes and increases the three realms of the world. All of the three realms are nourished by water. Possessing that, it is thus endowed with water. The arising of water is perfected in water. Thus, when the two are connected, all arises. The all-accomplishing water deity. Eliminating habitual obscurations is the power of water. With that power, he subdues afflictions. Accomplishing joy is the lord of all. The lord protects all with lordship. All hope is the supreme refuge. Thus, arising comes from water. By all sentient beings' afflictions. Completely purifying all sufferings. Faults and habits, sins and obscurations. Obstacles, adverse conditions, and enemies of the elements. Demons and hindrances arising from water. Diseases of cold arising from water. Indigestion and stone diseases. Intestinal heat, intestinal diseases, the poison of water. By food that has become poisonous. Evil water, floods, enemies of water. Repelling water disasters, the movement of enemies of water. Repelling evil omens of severe drought. Repelling the decline of fortune and merit in human bodies. Destroying the aggregates of form. Cutting off life, all are repelled. Quelling disputes over fame and power. Evil karma, obstacles, and demons of the elements. Demons and executioners of karma and samsara. Stealing the common fortune of the world. And all those who harm beings. May all of them be pacified. The king of the deities of Kongtse. With a mandala that greatly increases merit. Meditating on the clear and unchanging samadhi of the yidam deity. Generating a mind of love endowed with the four immeasurables. By composing this pure golden thread. May the obscurations of suffering, jealousy, and the five poisons be purified.
