The Suchness of the Tathagata and the Suchness of the Arhat, the Suchness of the Pratyekabuddha and the Suchness of the Bodhisattva, the Oneness itself, devoid of reality, not different, such is the realm, the Prajnaparamita, known by the Tathagata. Whether the wise abide in the world or enter Nirvana, the faultless nature of Dharma, the emptiness of all dharmas, this abides, the Bodhisattva subsequently realizes this Suchness. Therefore, the Buddha is named Tathagata. The Prajnaparamita, relying on the garden of joy, is the field of activity for the ten powers of the guide, although it completely liberates sentient beings from suffering and the three lower realms, yet even those do not change the perception of sentient beings. For example, a lion relying on the forest is fearless, causing many small animals to be frightened and make sounds. The lion of men, relying on the Prajnaparamita, to frighten many heretics, also makes sounds in the world. For example, the sunlight abiding in the sky dries up this earth and also clearly shows forms. Similarly, the Dharma king, relying on the Prajnaparamita, dries up the ocean of existence and also clearly shows the Dharma. Forms are not seen, feelings are also not seen, perception is not seen, formations are not seen, and that which is consciousness, mind, and intellect are not seen, the Tathagata taught that this is seeing the Dharma. Sentient beings speak of seeing the sky, but one should examine how the sky is seen. Thus, the Tathagata also shows seeing the Dharma, but the metaphor for seeing cannot be expressed. Whoever sees in this way sees all dharmas. Just as the king abides in equanimity, and all the ministers act, the deeds of the Buddha and the dharmas of the Shravakas, all of these are done by the Prajnaparamita. Just as the king does not enter the city, nor does he enter the countryside, but gathers everything from his own country, so the Bodhisattva does not enter any Dharma nature, but gathers all the qualities of the Buddha-ground. Whoever has faith and steadfastness in the Sugata Bodhisattva, and contemplates and cultivates the supreme Prajnaparamita, then quickly transcends the two grounds of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, and swiftly attains the invincible victorious Bodhi.
