Arya Prajñāpāramitā Sañcaya Gatha The Condensed Verses of the Holy Perfection of Wisdom Homage to Arya Manjushri! Then, in order to make those four assemblies exceedingly happy, the Blessed One again taught this Perfection of Wisdom, and at that time he spoke these verses: Joy, reverence, and supreme faith are well established, Having removed the obscurations and afflictions, transcending defilement. For the sake of beings, manifestly entering, possessing the Perfection of Wisdom, Listen to that which the heroes practice. In this Jambudvipa, how many rivers flow, Producing flowers, fruits, medicines, and forests. The Naga lords and Naga deities dwelling in the Anavatapta Lake are the basis, That is the power and glory of the lord of the Nagas. How many of the Victorious Ones' Shravaka disciples teach the Dharma, Explaining, reasoning, and speaking truthfully, Bringing supreme happiness and obtaining its fruit, All of that is the power of the Tathagata's noble being. Why is that? Because whatever Dharma teachings the Victorious Ones have taught, Superior people, having become disciples, manifestly learn, Having directly realized, they teach as they have learned, It is done by the power of the Buddhas, not by the power of their own strength. In that which the supreme Perfection of Wisdom is not fixated upon, The Bodhisattva is not fixated upon, the Bodhicitta is not fixated upon. Having heard that, without confusion and without fear, That Bodhisattva practices the Sugata's Wisdom. Without form, without feeling, without perception, without conception, In that, there is not even a particle where consciousness abides. That does not abide in all Dharmas, it practices without abiding. Without any grasping, the Sugatas attain enlightenment. Just as a garlanded wanderer, with knowledge, The aimless aggregates arise as the manifestation of destruction. Whatever Bodhisattva knows the Dharmas in that way, Does not touch Nirvana, that is the abode of Wisdom. Again, what is this Wisdom? To whom does it belong? From where does it come?
