This is the practice of the supreme Prajñāpāramitā. First chapter. Whoever does not abide in form, does not abide in feeling, Whoever does not abide in perception, does not abide in mind, Whatever consciousness does not abide in, is the abiding in the nature of reality, This is the practice of the supreme Prajñāpāramitā. Permanent and impermanent, happiness and suffering, suffering and non-suffering, Self and non-self, suchness and such emptiness, Obtaining the fruit and Arhat, not abiding on the ground, Pratyekabuddha ground and likewise Buddha ground, not abiding. How to lead, not abiding in the unconditioned realm, Likewise, not abiding in the conditioned, practicing without abiding. Thus, the Bodhisattva abides in abiding without abiding, Non-abiding is abiding, this is said by the Victorious One to be abiding. Whoever thinks to become a Sugata Śrāvaka, Pratyekabuddha and likewise the supreme king, If not relying on this patience, cannot be obtained, Like not seeing the shore of the other side playing. What is teaching the Dharma and listening, and what is to be taught, What is obtaining the fruit and Pratyekabuddha, likewise the protector of the world, The Nirvana obtained by the wise with clarity, All that is like illusion, taught by the Tathagata. These four persons are not afraid of this, The son of the Buddha is skilled in truth and non-returning, Arhat who has removed defilements and abandoned doubt, The fourth is completely taken by the virtuous friend. The wise and intelligent Bodhisattva practices thus, Not learning the Arhat ground, not the Pratyekabuddha ground, For the sake of all-knowingness, following the Buddha's Dharma. Whoever learns and does not learn, does not learn in non-learning, that is learning. Form increases, not for complete decay and complete grasping, Various dharmas, not learning for complete grasping, Learning and completely grasping all-knowingness, Whatever is definitely arising, this is learning with the joy of qualities. Form is not wisdom, there is no wisdom in form, Consciousness, perception, feeling, and the hero of mind, These are not wisdom, there is no wisdom in these either, This is the same as the space element, there is no difference. The nature of all objects, that is without end, Whatever is the nature of sentient beings, that is also without end, The nature of the space element, that is also without end, The wisdom of the wise of the world, that is also without end.

Consciousness is proclaimed as illusion, and by completely destroying and abandoning consciousness, one reaches the other shore. Those who are free from consciousness are in the state of post-realization; they reach the other shore and abide in the Buddha's teachings. Even if the teacher, the Tathagata, were to dwell for as many eons as there are sands in the Ganges, constantly proclaiming the name "sentient being," how could sentient beings truly arise from their inherently pure nature? This is the supreme practice of Prajnaparamita. When I speak in accordance with this supreme Prajnaparamita, the noble beings of the past prophesied that I would become a Buddha in the future. Thus spoke the Buddha. Wherever Prajnaparamita is protected and practiced, whoever reveres, upholds, and realizes it, poison, weapons, fire, and water cannot harm them, and demons and their allies cannot find an opportunity to exploit. Some people build stupas made of seven precious jewels to honor the complete Nirvana of the Tathagata and make offerings. Those stupas of the Tathagata fill millions of Buddha lands as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, and constantly protect infinite Buddha lands. Countless sentient beings dwell within them, doing nothing else but offering heavenly flowers, excellent incense, and perfumes, surpassing the former offerings in the three times. From where do the ten powers of the Tathagata arise? Writing the mother of the Tathagata on scrolls, upholding them, and offering flowers and perfumes surpasses the merit of building and offering stupas. The Prajnaparamita of the Buddhas is a great mantra, which pacifies the many afflictions and sufferings of sentient beings. Whether in the past or present, the protectors of the ten directions, upon learning this mantra, will become the supreme king of medicine. Those who benefit others and act with compassion, upon studying this mantra, will become wise and touch enlightenment. Whether it is conditioned happiness or unconditioned happiness, know that all happiness arises from this. Sowing seeds and letting them abide in the earth, they will grow; upon obtaining aggregation, various forms and colors will appear. The five Paramitas and the countless qualities of Bodhi, know that all of these arise from Prajnaparamita. From where does the path of the Chakravartin King come?
