These are the words of... Drodrup Rinpoche said, it is okay to recite mantras or not to recite them. This which can be spoken exists in the play of the unspeakable. This unspeakable is the mantra of the meaning of freedom from elaboration. It is immutable and has been cherished from the beginning. The nail of gathering and scattering is also said to be the essence of primordial emptiness, freedom from elaboration, and the unobstructed union of its own resonance, the manifestation of great compassion and clear awareness, uninterruptedly understood, and purified and liberated without the opportunity to accumulate habitual patterns. For the benefit of others, the great benefit of beings is effortlessly accomplished through the four types of activities. Furthermore, the unchanging nail of intention is: the union of awareness and emptiness, or the wisdom of the three bodies without separation, in the space of that wisdom itself, all appearances and minds of samsara and nirvana are mixed into one taste, not exceeding the nature of great purity and equality, the mandala of self-appearing wisdom, therefore, there is no need to hope for other realms, and a firm decision must be made about this. No matter how the impure karmic appearances of samsara and the suffering of the lower realms are described, there is no need to fall into them, because they are self-appearing, and in the state of equal taste view, one possesses two great fearlessnesses. Reciting samsara as nameless, the cause of birth is empty. Reciting nirvana as baseless, the abbot of abiding is empty. That itself is empowered because the senses have become powerful in the objects, therefore, in the state of samadhi of that person, all of samsara and nirvana are complete in the space of the root view, so it is said to be complete or full. Beings who have not become like that hold other appearances to be truly existent. It is necessary to know that those do not go beyond their own appearances. Even if others speak of hundreds of thousands of qualities of the Buddha's land, for a person with realization, it cannot move a single pore of his hair, because he knows it is self-appearing. There is no desire for the result. If one person becomes a Buddha, do all sentient beings become Buddhas? It is not like that. This is the difference between self-appearance and other-appearance. That Buddha manifests all dharmas in self-appearance and becomes completely enlightened, therefore, impurity never appears at all. Why? Because the cause of producing impurity, the seed, has been completely purified. If you ask whether you know the karmic appearances of sentient beings, although there are views such as those of the Gandenpas (Gelugpas) and Sakyapas.

According to the Nyingma Rongzom's view, for example, in the past, when the compassionate teacher Buddha attained enlightenment, he relied on the Bodhi tree as his support, directly realizing perfect enlightenment, and realizing the mandala of self-appearing wisdom as pure, equal, and of one taste, thus becoming a Buddha. That Buddha, with his own self-aware wisdom, simultaneously knows the karmic appearances of sentient beings in a state of non-thought. Although it does not appear that way in the deluded appearances of sentient beings, when entering the stage of learning the path, first, with the power of the aspiration to supreme Bodhi, when gaining mastery over self-aware wisdom, it is said that he simultaneously knows the mind-streams of all beings, which are effortlessly, spontaneously, and naturally perfect. Although the Buddha does not think in his mind that he must benefit sentient beings, by the power of his aspiration and vows, for example, although the moon is in the sky, its reflection simultaneously appears in all rivers and streams. The moon does not intend to appear in all waters, but it appears. The glorious Buddha said: Do not abandon outer appearances, liberate on the appearance itself, like a child picking up dust; do not abandon inner movements, liberate on the movement itself, like drawing a picture on water; the secret is the naked state of awareness-emptiness, do not lose its radiance. The four clarities are: all subtle and gross thoughts are purified on the ground of the base, so it is "Salé"; being free from the three states of dullness, sinking, and obscurity, therefore awareness has clear sharpness, so it is "Seng-ngé"; the radiance of the five senses is not interrupted, and the appearances of objects are not mixed, each becoming the object of self-aware wisdom, so it is "Hrig-gé"; all phenomena of samsara and nirvana arise and dissolve spontaneously in the realm of awareness-emptiness, so it is "Lhang-ngé". The Three Jewels are: the union of awareness-emptiness is not stained by the impurities of habitual patterns, so it is "Buddha"; wisdom and qualities increase, so it is called "Dharma". The original purity, the nature free from elaboration, is inexpressible, and is the ultimate Dharma, so it is the great inexpressible proclamation, the supreme speech. The union of awareness-emptiness itself does not change in the three times, so it is the noble Sangha. Furthermore, if one clings to the pure and vast phenomena of existence as objects with definite places, times, and numbers, and then says they take refuge, that is wrong. It's like turning heaven and earth upside down.
