Having thoroughly examined everything, emptiness, mind, and self-awareness arising from the mind, cannot be grasped by anything, and do not cling to anything. It is not permissible to deny that it merely exists as a continuous series of moments. If it were like this, there would be no difference from the noble ones. However, even in the stage of ordinary individuals, one should understand and become accustomed to this, and then gradually generate the form of a deity. This is in accordance with the Yogācāra school, because it does not observe external objects apart from the self-manifestation of mind and wisdom. As it is said in accordance with the way of taming, it is the same as before. The perfect yoga is in agreement with the Madhyamaka view, and my suchness is also merely a designation. In this regard, I have merely not analyzed the five aggregates with wisdom. Its suchness is merely the complete pacification of all elaborations. Like this, no support is observed. From there, even though it transforms into various mandalas of body and wisdom, it is without support and without essence. Thus it is said. Among the seven practices of the gradual path to liberation, the first is the practice of faith and diligence, which includes the ten essentials of learning through secret mantras. First, liberation through hearing the tantras: if one does not initially hear the profound meaning of the tantric texts, transmissions, and instructions, one will not open the eye of discernment for what to adopt and abandon. Therefore, liberation through hearing the tantras is established as the foundation, like untying a male horse. Second, gathering from all doors: because one cannot liberate vast wisdom by hearing only a little, one seeks many doors of hearing, gathering from all doors like a bee searching for a hive, hearing extensively. Third, gathering into one point: even if one hears a lot, if the practice does not hit the key point, one cannot liberate one's own mindstream. Therefore, with the ultimate instructions, one brings the profound key points into practice, gathering into one point like a merchant seeking profit, hitting the key point. Fourth, becoming an excellent scholar: having done this, one understands the meaning of the tantras through hearing, one takes the meaning of the tantras into practice through the transmissions, and one gains confidence through the instructions, becoming an excellent scholar with unwavering certainty through learning, like reaching the summit of a high mountain. These four are the ways of learning secret mantras. Fifth, ascending gradually through empowerment:

Having received the empowerment of secret mantra and the secret empowerment, one becomes a practitioner who is not defiled by afflictions, like a prince ascending the throne. Sixth, being held by the root samaya: pleasing the lama and not transgressing the samaya as spoken, like fertile land, is a practitioner who can grow the crops of accomplishment. Seventh, cutting through with view: all phenomena of samsara and nirvana are gathered into one's own mind, and the mind is originally enlightened, realizing it as self-arisen wisdom, free from effort, hope, and fear, wandering freely, like a garuda soaring in the sky. Eighth, taking practice with samadhi: focusing single-pointedly on the meaning aimed at by wisdom, without distraction by samadhi, like taking a precious jewel. Ninth, abandoning with conduct: abandoning all activities to be done in equipoise and engaging in the activity of meditation; and in post-meditation, without acceptance or rejection, acting fearlessly in accordance with the profound view of equality, and engaging in various activities as desired, like an elephant entering water. Tenth, accomplishing the meaning with pith instructions: accomplishing the meaning for which one is striving with pith instructions that hit the mark, with unwavering confidence, if one experiences it, from the time of attaining samadhi, conquering the four maras and attaining the three kayas, like buying a precious jewel, this is the limit of the six trainings. Second, being in accordance with wisdom, during the time of great emptiness, all activities between sessions are carried into the practice of non-conceptual wisdom. Third, being in accordance with skillful means, during the time of compassion and illusion, appearances and experiences are viewed as the play of illusory wisdom. Fourth, being one-sided is the single mudra: in equipoise, one meditates on the single mudra of union, and in post-meditation, one prolongs its duration. Fifth, the conduct of having elaboration: in equipoise, the samadhi of the deity that one meditates on seals all appearances, thereby suppressing the deluded appearances of wrong thoughts. Sixth, the conduct of gathering: during the time of gathering, one protects the mandala in the yoga of pure equality and great bliss. Seventh, having attained the stainless vidyadhara, the conduct of miraculous powers: performing activities with unobstructed ability and power.
