It is commonly said, and the term "non-Buddhist" also generally applies to those non-Buddhists who speak of permanence and annihilation. However, here, if we use these two terms sequentially as general names for non-Buddhists who speak of annihilation and permanence, respectively, the meaning of the words will be very fitting, and it will be the intention of this treatise. Within these two views of permanence and annihilation, all forms of permanence and annihilation asserted by non-Buddhists are completely included. The transcendental path that is related to the uncontaminated path also has two forms if distinguished: the specific and general characteristics of phenomena, and the nature of perfect enlightenment, which are shown separately without mixing them. Showing the acceptance and rejection of these is the characteristic vehicle, and showing the inseparability of the two perfect enlightenments in the mandala of body, speech, and mind is the Vajra Vehicle. Within the characteristic vehicle, there are also three forms depending on whether or not one clings to the characteristics, due to differences in capacity, inclination, and faculties: the Hearer Vehicle, which involves listening to instructions from others and causing others to hear them; the Solitary Realizer Vehicle, in which one comprehends the fruit of truth at the final moment of existence; and the Bodhisattva Vehicle, which has a firm intention for enlightenment or focuses on enlightenment and sentient beings. The Vajra Vehicle also has three forms if distinguished: the Action Tantra Vehicle, which considers inner samadhi to be the main factor but believes that accomplishments cannot be attained without relying on external purification and ascetic practices; the Ubhaya Tantra Vehicle, which believes that both external actions and inner samadhi can lead to accomplishment; and the Yoga Tantra Vehicle, which believes that accomplishment can be achieved solely through inner samadhi, even without relying on external actions. The views of those who have entered the Yoga Inner Dharma Method Tantra Vehicle have three forms: the Generation Stage Mahayoga, which mainly shows the generation of skillful means; the Completion Stage Anuyoga, which mainly shows the perfection stage of wisdom; and the Ati Dzogchen, which mainly shows non-duality and union. From "Dispelling the Darkness of the Ten Directions": Until one gains control over the mind, one follows the conditions and karma, but after that, time can appear as one wishes, transforming long periods into short ones and short periods into long ones.

There are Lava and so on. Because time is just a manifestation of the mind. As it is said in the Sutra Taught by the Renowned Vimalakirti, "For those who desire a short time, bless them to pass many kalpas in seven days." and so on. Therefore, until one attains the state of an Arya, the profoundness of the path seems near or far. But after that, having gained control over the mind, one has the freedom to be liberated as quickly as one wishes. As it is said in the Intermediate Mother Sutra, "Subhuti, when one obtains the stainless Dharma eye towards all dharmas, if one wishes, one can attain unsurpassed Bodhi in seven days. If one wishes, one can also attain unsurpassed Bodhi in billions of kalpas. This is also the first distinction of the skillful means of Bodhisattva Mahasattvas." All dharmas are primordially completely pure, naturally in Nirvana, manifestly perfectly enlightened, naturally luminous, and with the nature of equality that is primordially unborn and unceasing. Meditating on all as equal in the great sphere of the single bindu, Dharmadhatu luminosity, and stainlessness, is the nature of Samadhi wisdom. What is that principle like? It is like this: represented by "the purity of form," all dharmas from form, the object of knowledge, to omniscience, are primordially without the nature of the two dharmas of grasper and grasped, samsara and nirvana, self and other, existent and non-existent, etc. The single bindu of Dharmadhatu, the equality that is primordially free from birth and cessation, naturally pure, and abiding in great stainlessness. However, when a sudden delusion arises from not realizing that state, in the face of a defiled mind that imputes self and dharma, the object also appears impure, and the mind also grasps it as such. Therefore, having the defilements and obscurations of the side of samsara, it is called an impure sentient being. In order to eliminate that sudden defilement, the path of the three vehicles is taught. By entering that path, one sees the reality of Dharmata, the naturally pure nature, more and more clearly. Like this, the four fruits of the Shravakas, the fruit of the Pratyekabuddhas, and the realization of the path of seeing and the path of meditation of the nine Bhumis of the Bodhisattvas arise.
