It is the mind at the time of cessation. When the mind recognizes the nature of reality, the mind itself also realizes the state of the nature of reality, without the distinction of grasper and grasped. Therefore, although there is no saying of realization or non-realization for the ground nature of reality, it should be known that the saying of realization or non-realization is due to the power of the mind of sentient beings arising from the state of the nature of reality. In this regard, if the luminosity of the ground of reality is recognized by the path of liberation, or if the reality is recognized, and it is continuously maintained, when habituation becomes stable, the five sense consciousnesses dissolve into the mind, the mind dissolves into the alaya consciousness, the alaya consciousness dissolves into the ground, and when the ground dissolves into the luminosity emptiness of the nature of reality, even if the eight consciousness aggregates completely cease and disappear, the awareness of the nature of reality, the wisdom of self-arisen luminosity itself, due to the power of previous habituation, in the analogy of space free from the three conditions of arising, the clear recognition of the manifestation of enlightenment luminosity occurs. For ordinary people who do not have the conditions of the path, even after the cessation of the eight consciousness aggregates at the time of death and deep sleep, the mind of the nature of reality, or the original mind, cannot regress, because it is uncompounded and unchanging. Although it is not non-existent, it cannot be recognized, therefore it is then called the state of mindless darkness. In order for the yogi to manifest the luminous mind through the path of skillful means, first the generation stage and vajra recitation are performed, and then in the completion stage, by focusing the mind on the subtle nada in the heart, in the appearance of mirages and so on, and in the stages of appearance, increase, and attainment, at the end of the three appearances of the white path, red path, and black path, when the experience of a cloudless sky arises, because the subtle mind has not ceased, although it is not the luminosity of the ground itself, it is only similar to it, and through repeated habituation, it will be transformed into the luminosity of realizing the meaning. Moreover, at night, by focusing the mind on the white A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) in the heart, when the consciousness of sleep is gathered inward, the experience of the three appearances will occur, as well as the appearance of luminosity similar to pure space, and through various instructions such as the space triad, the experience of clear and pure space will also arise, all of which can only be said to be similar to luminosity, but it is not the luminosity of realizing the meaning itself, but an experience, and experience refers to...

Furthermore, the similar appearance of the clear light of the abiding nature is also called the example clear light. The essence of wisdom is not called "experience," but "meaning clear light." Therefore, all those who, with a self-righteous mind, grasp the object of meditation, clear light or emptiness, as the grasper and the grasped, and practice it, even if the similar appearance of emptiness and clear light appears, it is like a painted moon. As in the meaning of the direct pointing out of the nature of mind in Dzogchen, if one directly determines the unborn nature of one's own mind without the need for transformation or examination, then it is the reality of the example wisdom, like the reflection of the moon in water. Such a nature of mind is not realized by inference by the practitioners who have realized Mahamudra or Dzogchen, but is realized directly by themselves. Therefore, many noble beings have also said that this is the path of seeing of mantra. The absence of hundreds of thousands and twelve qualities, etc., is explained in the increase of the body, obscurations, etc. Klongchen Rabjam said that although it is not the real path of seeing of mantra, it is the real realization of the suchness of the nature of reality. The path of seeing must have hundreds of thousands and twelve qualities, etc. Therefore, although this is self-awareness manifest, it is accepted as example wisdom. Meaning wisdom is accepted as the real moon on the path of seeing. Therefore, the object to be realized and the subject to be realized are confused, and the mind among the eight aggregates, and the self-power of wisdom that transcends the eight aggregates, the two self-born wisdoms that discriminate the nature of phenomena, are the same. Wisdom has not arisen, and those who seek the meaning of Dzogchen in consciousness say that the original mind, which is taught by Dzogchen, is a subtle mind. This is extremely wrong. The original mind, the Tathagatagarbha, the mind of clear light, the mind of ultimate bodhicitta, the self-born wisdom, and the dharmadhatu, although they are different in name, are not different in meaning. Such an original mind of clear light, although the two appearances of samsara and nirvana appear from the unconditioned realm, the clear light itself is not the cause of it, nor is it the establishment of the two, samsara and nirvana. From the Jewel Mirror, a catalog of the Seven Treasures composed by Mipham Rinpoche: The complete practice of Dzogchen Trekchö causes the impure wind-mind to...
