It is called "Pa." In the context of the four decisive parts of the path of application, the five faculties are cultivated in the two stages of heat and peak. With the faculty of faith, one particularly admires the wisdom of the path of seeing. With the faculty of diligence, one strives without distraction to cultivate the method of generating the wisdom of the path of seeing in one's own mindstream. With the faculty of mindfulness, one protects and does not lose the training of higher morality. With the faculty of concentration, one abides in the training of higher concentration. With the faculty of wisdom, one cultivates the view of reality in one's own mindstream through the training of higher wisdom and puts it into practice. In the context of the two, forbearance and the highest mundane dharma, the above five faculties are also cultivated in such a way that they are free from their respective obscurations. That is, the five—faith, diligence, mindfulness, concentration, and wisdom—which cannot be completely crushed by the obstacles of disbelief, laziness, forgetfulness, distraction, and unwise attention, become strengths. In the path of seeing, the seven branches of enlightenment are: Right mindfulness, the branch of enlightenment, is the branch of place. From the mindfulness that has been repeatedly practiced before, the direct perception of truth arises, and by this, one overcomes what was previously unknown and unconquered, like a precious wheel. Right discrimination of dharma, the branch of enlightenment, is the branch of nature. The nature of the wisdom that sees the truth destroys all signs, like a precious elephant, cutting off unfavorable factors. Right effort, the branch of enlightenment, is the branch of definite emergence. It definitely emerges or applies to the realization of one's own object of realization, like a supreme horse jewel, making it possible to go wherever one desires. Right joy, the branch of enlightenment, is the branch of benefit. The joy of the increasing appearance of the dharma of seeing the truth pervades body and mind, like the light of a precious jewel pervading. Right pliancy, the branch of enlightenment, the three, pliancy, etc., are the branches of non-affliction. That is, pliancy is the place of non-affliction. By the bliss of the pliancy of body and mind, it is made workable, becoming the abode of the non-afflicted mind, like a queen jewel.

It is like giving the pleasure of touch. Right concentration is a branch of enlightenment, it is a branch of the basis of non-affliction, that is, it does not generate afflictions, and the mind abides in one-pointedness. From this, all desired things are accomplished, just like obtaining whatever one wants from a wish-fulfilling jewel. Right equanimity is a branch of enlightenment, it is the nature of non-affliction, that is, the nature of being free from attachment, aversion, etc. From this, one can abide in the state of the noble ones as one wishes, just like a wish-fulfilling minister can make the army assemble, go, stay, and return. Or, equanimity means that for some Bodhisattvas, if sandalwood paste is applied from the right side and the flesh of a cow is cut from the left side, there is no attachment or aversion to either, but equality. In the context of the path of meditation, the eightfold noble path is: In the path of seeing, seeing the non-conceptual wisdom manifest, therefore correctly realizing the view of reality is right view. By its power, all afflictions do not arise in the continuum, and all thoughts naturally become virtuous, which is right thought. From a virtuous mind, evil deeds of speech and body do not arise, and everything that is said benefits beings, which is right speech. Whatever actions are done, whatever is done becomes altruistic, which is right action. Not being defiled by the five wrong livelihoods, always being content is right livelihood. The five wrong livelihoods are: flattery, pretense, deception, seeking gain, and measuring what is obtained, these five should be abandoned. Not being tired for the sake of others, abandoning distraction and striving is right effort. Constantly maintaining the continuity of mindfulness is right mindfulness. Abiding in the four dhyanas, etc., and entering into various samadhis is right concentration, these are the eightfold noble path. The nature of mind, the self-born wisdom, the self-luminous nature, has no elaboration whatsoever. Therefore, for it, there is no term of two dharmas such as newly realized or not realized. Mind has two, realized and not realized. Therefore, the nature of mind is the Suchness that has always existed, which is to be realized by the path. What realizes it is wisdom, that is, the wisdom of hearing, thinking, and meditating. That is the conceptual thought of listening, etc.
