I consider that emptiness is free from clinging to "I," "mine," permanence, cessation, etc., and that one should not deny the mere existence of the dharmas of the aggregates, elements, and sense bases. This is what I consider to be the suchness of self. In accordance with the Yogacara school, the suchness of this collection of five aggregates is not only empty of self and what belongs to self, but also empty of the apprehended and apprehender as conceived by the Hearers. One should not deny that there is only self-awareness of mind and mental factors, which is not apprehended by anything and does not apprehend anything. This is what is considered to be its suchness. In accordance with the Madhyamaka school, the suchness of this collection of aggregates is also empty of the non-conceptual wisdom that the Yogacarins conceive as ultimately existent. This is the complete pacification of all characteristics of elaboration, which is what is considered to be its suchness. Thus, the suchness of self is the experience of self-awareness, which is beyond the elaborations of self, aggregates, and consciousness, free from apprehended and apprehender, unmoving, and utterly clear and luminous. Having placed the mind on such a meaning, the suchness of mantra is to meditate on the deity. First, the deity of emptiness is the certainty or pride of the non-duality of self and the suchness of the deity, which is non-conceptual and undifferentiated in the dharmadhatu, and is the samadhi without appearance. From that state, one contemplates the mere sound of the syllables of the mantra of whatever deity as resounding from the sky, which is the deity of sound. From that sound, the form of the syllables of the mantra appears in the sky, which is the deity of letters. Then, in order to perfect the manifestation of the deity of form, the essence of self transforms into the form of a lunar mandala, and the syllables of the mantra, which are the essence of the deity, remain in the sky. These gather together and mix like pure mercury clinging to gold dust. From the nature of the inseparability of self and deity, light radiates, offering to the noble ones, purifying the obscurations of sentient beings, and gathering back, clarifying whatever form of the deity remains, and generating pride in that, which is the deity of form. Then, one relies on and blesses the marks on the crown of the head, etc., with the mudras of the family of whatever deity, which is the deity of mudras. Then, on that

Like that, clearly visualize the deity's body and each limb, focus on its signs, and contemplate "this is like this," continuously clinging to it, this is the deity with signs. Then, visualize yourself and the deity as inseparable, and practice by restraining the life force, finally reaching a state of effortless, non-conceptual, and naturally clear appearance, which is abiding in samadhi. Like this, the inner practice and outer actions, such as bathing and cleaning, are: it is said to perform three baths and change clothes three times. The outer bath is the five-limb bath, the inner bath is purifying the channels and winds, and the secret bath is purifying signs and concepts. The outer clothing is wearing new clothes, the inner clothing is keeping vows, and the secret clothing is visualizing the deity. The fruit of accomplishment is: by striving like this, one can temporarily obtain various common accomplishments such as the body of a vidyadhara equal to the gods of the desire and form realms, and ultimately achieve the ultimate fruit. In the chapter on Action Tantra, the view of those who have entered the vehicle of both tantras is that in ultimate truth there is no birth or death, but in conventional truth, one visualizes the form body of the deity, and the samadhi of visualizing this body as having four aspects, namely the suchness of oneself, the suchness of the deity, the suchness of samadhi, and the suchness of recitation. The first is to generate oneself as the samaya being. The second is to invite the wisdom being and have it reside on the forehead. The third is to visualize a moon and seed syllables in the heart of oneself and the deity in front. The fourth is to combine with the breath, exhaling to inspire the samaya, and inhaling to receive siddhis, reciting while avoiding the ten faults with this intention. The yoga without signs is: by analyzing all phenomena such as the skandhas, realizing no-birth, the mind of entering arises. This mind manifests as the nature of non-discrimination, the mind of abiding. Like this, for those who have not realized, guiding them with great compassion, the mind of arising, of emerging, arises. Like this, distinguishing by the three ways of entering, abiding, and emerging, one meditates on the ultimate bodhicitta. The fruit of accomplishment is: the common accomplishments are the three: substance, body, and enjoyment. Substance is taking a sword, eye medicine, etc., and reciting mantras, the substance burns, or by taking it in hand, one can accomplish vidyadharas, etc.
