If it becomes like that, it will pierce through all the elaborating conceptualizations like ashes or completely, therefore it is similar to a vajra. The first two lines of this explain the meaning of a bodhisattva, and the latter two explain the meaning of a vajra. For example, although 'made' and 'impermanent' are mutually pervasive and of the same essence, 'made' is from the aspect of establishing, and 'impermanent' is from the aspect of negating, having their own distinct counter-aspects. Similarly, awareness is spoken of from the aspect of establishing, and the expanse is from the aspect of negating. In the common tantra of the new and old traditions, the Samputa Tantra says: 'Vajra is explained as emptiness. Bodhisattva is great wisdom. When these natures are accomplished, they are called Vajrasattva.' This is from the oral tradition. In the explanatory tantra, the Mirror, regarding 'all dharmas' etc., the oral tradition says: 'Vajra is the wisdom of inseparable nature, emptiness. And what nature is that vajra inseparable from? It is inseparable from the emptiness of the nature of all dharmas. Emptiness is called vajra.' The Samputa Tantra says: 'Vajra is explained as emptiness.' Thus it is. 'Bodhisattva' refers to what is taught by the two lines 'all dharmas without exception' etc. If the seven vajra qualities are applied to the meaning they represent, then awareness is vast and profound, not severed (མི༵་ཆོད༵་པ།) by conceptualizations of afflictions such as attachment. Not destroyed (མི༵་ཤིགས༵་པ།) by conceptualizations of cognitive obscurations such as grasping at truth. True (བདེན༵་པ༵།) by being truly and correctly true without inversion. Because it is free from birth, death, aging, and decay, it is firm (སྲ༵་བ༵།). The union of awareness and emptiness, the dharmakaya, the single bindu, is stable (བརྟན༵་པའོ༵།) because it is free from change in the three times. Because it pervades samsara and nirvana without distinction, it is unobstructed (ཐོགས༵་པ་མེད༵་པ།) in all places. Because its own essence is inherently free from faults and endowed with all qualities, it is undefeated (མ༵་ཕམ་༵པའོ།) in all places. Regarding the point of being 'empty of both conceptualization and true existence,' Drubwang Rinpoche said to Khenpo Jigme Oser: 'These words need to be revised, so until the revision is completed, say 'empty of both appearance and mind.' Later, these two should not be added either. The non-affirming negation spoken of here is merely imputed and not real.' These words were spoken by Khenpo Jigme Oser to Khra Lama Jinpa. Regarding the occasion of 'being endowed with instructions and abiding in that,' Rinpoche said to Lama Terton:

After properly adapting to the luminosity of awareness, remaining in that state is also remaining in the Dharmadhatu. Remaining in the Dharmadhatu is also remaining in the luminosity. It is said that these two, like fire and heat, are primordially inseparable and exist as the great union. When the treasure revealer himself explained the Guhyagarbha Tantra, he also connected the meaning of "in that" to the luminosity. The reason for this is that the Dharmadhatu is primordially inseparable like fire and heat. Similarly, Mipham Rinpoche said: Seeing the nature of reality, Which is without the duality of grasping and being grasped, Where else other than on this Of one's own mind, could it be experienced? Knowledge that has not experienced Emptiness and non-duality is not self-arisen wisdom. When one experiences non-duality, Because of emptiness, there is no birth or cessation. The meaning of the innate luminosity of reality, Which is without location and cannot be grasped, What is self-arisen wisdom? Non-duality of the two truths is the nature of reality. It is the nature of the great Madhyamaka. What is called Dharmadhatu is the object, What is called wisdom is the subject. As long as the subject is impermanent and the object is permanent, And they appear separately, It is not the naked experience of the self-arisen Wisdom of the non-duality of Dharmadhatu and awareness. When wisdom is recognized nakedly, What is called Dharmadhatu is just that. What is called wisdom is just that. What is called non-duality is just that. That itself is the ultimate primordial, The nature of all co-emergent great bliss dharmas Never changes. If, in meaning, there is a distinction between Birth and non-birth, Then this nature of reality, Which is the non-duality of Dharmadhatu and awareness, Could never exist. Therefore, even if divided by reversal, That nature of non-duality in meaning Is far beyond the scope of the mind of dualistic perception. Experiencing it with individual self-awareness, One touches the meaning of inexpressible equality. In that, appearance and emptiness are non-dual. Dharma and Dharmata are inseparable. Object and subject cannot be divided. The single bindu is the realm of dharma. Although it cannot be expressed by words, The luminosity of individual self-awareness Has been naturally abiding from the beginning. In reality, there is no doubt about the meaning of the state. So it is said. The oral tradition says: According to this tantra, the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu, primordially inseparable, is the nature of all the qualities of the three kayas.
