Regarding the seat and the means path, it only teaches to grasp one's own necessary dharma, which is the three, channels, bindus, and winds, as the key points. Apart from that, there are no other instructions, so the liberation path is more universal. It is said. Furthermore, regarding the liberation path, it is recorded in notes such as the 'Wish-Fulfilling Jewel': The advantages and disadvantages of the liberation path are small, while the advantages and disadvantages of the means path are extremely large. For example, if alchemy is used well, one ounce of gold can instantly turn a thousand ounces of iron into gold, but if it is used improperly, the iron will turn into ashes. Mipham Rinpoche said that these two paths of means and liberation are only emphasized in the use of skillful means and wisdom, and it is not that one exists and the other does not. In understanding the meaning of reality, one should understand that they are the same. Moreover, the means path is gradual, relying on the upper gate (steng sgo), while the sudden means path relies on the key points of the lower gate ('og sgo). In addition, the notes record: For the sake of this tantra, one must first tame the disciples with the common path, and then receive the ripening empowerment. Constrained by the vows of empowerment, one learns the two stages. Before that, one must determine the view. This is not only the view of understanding the cause, but also to cut off the clinging to the channels, winds, and bindus that are grasped, how to grasp them, and the results of grasping them, through hearing and thinking. After that, truly learning the yoga of the two stages is the characteristic of entering into conditions, which is samadhi. After the generation stage, the completion stage is divided into the means path and the liberation path. In the liberation path, without grasping the three, channels, bindus, and winds, as the key points, one only relies on strength to manifest the wisdom of one's own nature. With this strength, the appearance of wisdom is driven by the primordial wind, and various base appearances of emptiness and form appear, and one takes them as the path. This liberation path is difficult to realize, and the path is slow. Easy to realize and the path is fast is the means path. The means path is divided into the self-means path and the other-means path. The former is awakening the indestructible bindu in the heart, which is the key to the path. Therefore, one must ignite the inner heat to awaken it. The method is to visualize oneself as the sole Vajradhara or Samantabhadra of the Great Secret Lineage, keeping the body in the seven-point posture of Vairochana, focusing on the four chakras of the crown, throat, heart, and navel, and four fingers below the navel, practicing inner heat.

The position of the punctuation mark, and below it, the mandala of the wind of conjunction. After the six chakras of the body are clearly illuminated, the upper wind is pressed down and the lower wind is forcefully drawn up, starting from the union of the two winds. The "A" short vowel at the navel, whose essence is the essence of blood, has the nature of bliss, and its shape is like a thorn cut from its sharpest point, with the cut surface facing upwards. A sensation of heat is clearly felt. Focusing and holding onto it, due to all the wind-minds that flow in a single taste entering the central channel uprightly, the "A" short vowel burns even more, thereby activating the "Hum" (Tibetan: ཧཾ, Devanagari: हं, Romanized Sanskrit: haṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) syllable at the crown chakra, causing the essence of bodhicitta to gradually melt. In each chakra location, the joy of ascending and descending and stabilizing increases, just as when a flame is fanned, its own light spreads out. The indestructible essence of the heart, etc., transforms into power. The combined action of those essences activates the sound of wisdom, and various appearances of emptiness and form arise, which is called the ground appearance. It has two aspects: obtaining the vision of the body and obtaining (the deity). Below compassion and illusion, the deity's image appears in the mind, so it is the vision of the body. Below the same mudra, a new eye faculty of meditative power is formed in the central channel, and by this, one actually sees, which is called obtaining the deity's image. Such a ground appearance is gradually made into a path on the paths of learning, making the appearance larger, better, purer, and more stable. At the clear light of the end of learning, all appearances dissolve or are exhausted into the original dharmadhatu, and when one goes into that state of dharmadhatu, it is the uninterrupted path of constant exhaustion. At that time, just as appearances are exhausted, one's own body is purified or exhausted into light. From the second moment onwards, when the complete enjoyment body arises, possessing the seven limbs of union, it is called the path of liberation of constant exhaustion. Until space is not destroyed, without moving from the dharmadhatu, the emanation body, together with its activities, manifests in the countless realms of the world. This is the time of actualization, the ultimate fruition. The eye faculty can be indicated, therefore it is the body appearance of the desire realm. The sense faculty with form can be indicated, but the eye faculty cannot be indicated, therefore it is the speech half appearance. The sense faculty with form generally cannot be indicated, therefore it is the mind non-appearance, etc., according to oral tradition. In the case of object, sense, and consciousness, the object is coarse, the sense is subtler than that, and the consciousness is even subtler than that. Therefore, they are called the three realms.
