It says, "It is the one who makes effort fruitless." And, "Doubt is having two minds about the meaning of truth, it is the one who does not engage in virtuous deeds." In 'Entrance for the Fortunate Ones,' it says, "Here, when meditating on the antidote to purification, the six seeds of dependence are burned by the fire of wisdom that realizes selflessness, and the six seeds of the basis are burned by the fire of light emanating from the three syllables. If the six realms are purified by burning in this way, then one abides in the meaning." It is said. Therefore, with the profound secret instruction of the supreme method, purify the seeds of the six realms of dependence, destroy the habitual tendencies of the afflictions of dependence, and cut off the stream of rebirth in samsara in the expanse of reality. That is, this body of habitual tendencies abides in the nature of the six seeds because it is produced by the causes of the three ignorances, and this awareness of the ground of the Dharmakaya, being the reality of the three kayas, appears as the nature of the three syllables of the three kayas. Among them, what is to be purified: At the crown of the head is the seed of the gods, A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A), white with a slightly yellowish-white mist-like appearance; at the throat is the seed of the asuras, Su (Tibetan: སུ, Devanagari: सु, Romanized Sanskrit: su, Literal Chinese meaning: Su), yellowish with a slightly greenish-black mist-like appearance; at the heart is the seed of humans, Nri (Tibetan: ནྲྀ, Devanagari: नृ, Romanized Sanskrit: nṛ, Literal Chinese meaning: Nri), bluish-green with a mist-like appearance of various colors; at the navel is the seed of animals, Tri (Tibetan: ཏྲི, Devanagari: त्रि, Romanized Sanskrit: tri, Literal Chinese meaning: Tri), reddish-black with a mist of its own color; at the secret place is the seed of the pretas, Pre (Tibetan: པྲེ, Devanagari: प्रे, Romanized Sanskrit: pre, Literal Chinese meaning: Pre), ash-gray with a mist; and at the soles of the feet is the seed of hell, Du (Tibetan: དུ, Devanagari: दु, Romanized Sanskrit: du, Literal Chinese meaning: Du), black with a bluish-red mist-like appearance. Also, Tri (Tibetan: ཏྲི, Devanagari: त्रि, Romanized Sanskrit: tri, Literal Chinese meaning: Tri) green-black and Pre (Tibetan: པྲེ, Devanagari: प्रे, Romanized Sanskrit: pre, Literal Chinese meaning: Pre) red-gray are also mentioned, so either way is fine. It is clearly stated that the heads of the syllables of the three higher realms face upwards, and the heads of the syllables of the three lower realms face downwards. What purifies is the essence of all Buddhas, the nature of the body, speech, and mind of the Lama, appearing in the form of syllables: at the crown of the head is white Om (Tibetan: ༀ, Devanagari: ॐ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om), at the throat is red Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱ, Devanagari: आ, Romanized Sanskrit: ā, Literal Chinese meaning: Ah), and at the heart is blue Hung (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hung), from which blaze rays of light like a hundred thousand suns, radiant and glorious. By the cause of reciting the three syllables, countless rays of light arise, and one should contemplate that the seeds of the six realms of beings, together with their habitual tendencies, are purified into non-reality. Purifying from below, purifying from above, burning all at once, etc., it is said that it is necessary to combine them with their respective elements. In the 'Ocean of Profound Meaning,' it says: What is to be purified are the six places of beings, purifying

Now, purifying with the letters of the three bodies: Visualize that at the crown of your head, there is a white 'Ah' with the habit of a god, appearing as a white obscuration. Similarly, at the throat, there is a yellow-green 'Su' with the habit of an Asura; at the heart, there is a blue-gray 'Nri' with the habit of a human; at the navel, there is a red-black 'Tri' with the habit of an animal; at the secret place, there is a green 'Pre' with the habit of a preta; at the soles of the feet, there is a smoky 'Du' with the habit of hell. Having meditated thus, from the white seed syllable 'Om' (Tibetan: ༀ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 嗡) of the body at the crown of the head, rays of light emanate; from the red 'Ah' (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आ, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: 阿) of the throat, rays of light emanate; from the blue 'Hum' (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 吽) of the heart, rays of light emanate. With the light, burn all the obscurations of the six seed syllables, the habits of ignorance and delusion of body, speech, and mind, visualizing them all burning away, and recite. Om (Tibetan: ༀ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 嗡) Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आ, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: 阿) Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 吽). Recite seven million times with a melodious voice and song. At that time, visualize that just as with oneself, fire blazes from the letters at the three places of all sentient beings, burning the six seed syllables, and recite. Thus it is said. Furthermore, from the three syllables, rays of wisdom light emanate like a garland of flames, burning away all the sins and obscurations of body, speech, and mind, the seeds of the six realms, the habits of ignorance and delusion, making them cease to exist, and blessing body, speech, and mind into the body, speech, and mind of the Victorious Ones. The confluence of light pervades all the places of the six realms, and all the sins, obscurations, and habits of each of the six realms are burned away, and visualize that all the qualities of all the Victorious Ones are completely perfected, and it is said that it can be done with or without melody. In the Golden Rosary, it says: The self to be purified, within the ordinary crown of the head, has a black and white 'Ah' with the habit of a god and pride; the throat has a yellow and black 'Su' with the jealousy of an Asura; the heart has a blue and black 'Nri' with the desire of a human; the navel has a red and black 'Tri' with the ignorance of an animal; the secret place has a green and black 'Pre' with the miserliness of a preta; the soles of the feet have a smoky 'Du' with the habit of the hatred of hell, these letters corresponding to the colors, and visualize that karma and afflictions and their retinue are like smoke billowing from a coal pit. The letters of the body, speech, and mind to be purified are also a white 'Om' (Tibetan: ༀ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 嗡) at the crown of the head, a red 'Ah' (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आ, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: 阿) at the throat, and a blue 'Hum' (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 吽) at the heart, and the fire of wisdom blazes from these three letters, burning all six letters along with their habits.
