In the "Union" it says: Like the appearance of an ant crawling, at the end of a distant road, reciting "Hūṃ" (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) and going forward, with the ridge behind, going to the realms previously visited. Afterwards, looking at the empty valley, pointing to the north and west. Proceeding through narrow and fearful forest canyons and flowing rivers, thinking of going alone with "Hūṃ" (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) in the boundless, and reciting "Hūṃ" (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) in a long and pleasant voice. The "Illuminating the Profound Path of Instructions" says: Unifying one's body, breath, and mind, visualizing as a blue "Hūṃ" (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) syllable, and then entering the path ahead like an ant crawling, proceeding and resting a little at the turning points. Thinking of having reached the distant and boundless other shore, reciting "Hūṃ" (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) for a long time, and then resting naturally. Again, returning as before, abiding in one's own state, and resting. Third, training the mind: If one examines the container and its contents of the place of origin, then the sky, devoid of the three conditions, is merely a conceptual imputation. The mandala of wind is a collection of dust. Likewise, earth, water, and so on, and the bodies of the six kinds of beings are particles of dust. Speech is the three times of past, present, and future. Mind is measured by moments. The light body of the four dhyānas and the stream of consciousness of the four formless absorptions also arise and cease in moments, so it is easy to understand by knowing that there is nowhere to abide and nowhere to go. The instruction manual "Jewel Garland" says: First, examining the place of origin, where does the mind initially arise from? If one decomposes and examines the external and internal realms and the body into particles of dust, but cannot find it, this is realizing the meaning that the mind is inherently empty and devoid of a root. Second, examining where it is currently located, but cannot find it, this is realizing that the mind is without a basis and devoid of grasping. Third, examining where it ultimately goes, but cannot find it, this is realizing that the mind has no coming or going. Thus it is said. It is said that generating the higher vision that has not yet arisen through the three preliminaries is to thoroughly investigate, seek faults, and examine these three: the place of origin, the place of dwelling, and the place of going. Second, the inner preliminaries of body, speech, and mind are to purify the obscurations of the three doors. In the "Ocean of Profound Meaning" it says: Even though the appearances of external delusive conditions have ceased through the above three preliminaries, the causes and seeds of the inner delusions of body, speech, and mind have not ceased, so in order to cease these, it is necessary to distinguish the inner cycle and faults of body, speech, and mind. This is the habitual illusory body.

When this aggregate of earth is merely formed, it is already the seed that propels sentient beings into the six realms of samsara, constantly abiding in the six places. The karma accumulated by the six—attachment, hatred, ignorance, pride, jealousy, and miserliness—depending on the strength of their power, at the time of death, the breath and consciousness will gather with any one of the seeds of the six realms, and then be born in that place. As it is said in the Fortunate Entrance to the Bodhisattva Path: The seed of the gods is pride, which is divided into seven. The seed of the Asuras is view, which is divided into five. The seed of humans is doubt. The seed of animals is ignorance or unawareness, which the sutras say are the same. The seed of the pretas is attachment. The seed of the hell-beings is anger or hatred. Their retinue consists of the secondary defilements such as anger, which should be combined appropriately. Thus it is said. The seven prides are: Observing that one's own qualities are less than others, thinking 'I am greater than him,' or thinking that one is equal or the same, this is merely pride or small pride. Thinking that one is greater or more superior than those who are equal to oneself, considering oneself equal to the great, this is great pride. Thinking that one is more superior than those who are greater than oneself, this is pride beyond pride. Thinking 'I am,' clinging to the five aggregates of grasping as self and mine, this is the pride of 'I am.' Thinking that one has attained superior qualities that one has not attained, this is excessive pride. Being slightly inferior to the most superior, but still thinking that one is good, this is the pride of slight consideration. Taking faults that are not qualities as qualities and becoming proud, this is perverse pride. The five views are: In the Root Text of Entering the Wise, it says: The view of the collection of fears is clinging to the five aggregates of grasping as self and mine, which is the basis for other views. The view of clinging to extremes is clinging to self or the five aggregates as permanent or impermanent, which is the karma that obstructs liberation from the Middle Way. The wrong view is thinking that things that exist, such as cause and effect, do not exist, which is the karma that cuts off the roots of virtue. The view of holding views as supreme is clinging to the above three evil views and the five aggregates of grasping, which are the basis of views, as supreme and sacred, which is manifest clinging to evil views. The view of holding ethics and asceticism as supreme is clinging to ethics and asceticism that are not the path to liberation, and their basis, the five aggregates, as the path to liberation.
