Once self-liberated, one abides in the position of the Vajra Chain Body. The gateways through which the light of wisdom manifests outwardly are the two eyes. Among them, the right eye manifests the distant-shooting water bindu and the self-born wisdom bindu, which is the wisdom of knowing as it is, the nature of skillful means appearance. The left eye manifests the empty bindu and the pure realm bindu, which is the wisdom of knowing how it is, the nature of wisdom emptiness. In the center of these, from the Brahma aperture, the awareness of non-thought, the Vajra Chain, appears as stacked bindus. In "Differentiation": Furthermore, the later New School's Walmang Geshe said: The Nyingmapas say that there is a Buddha in the heart and a sentient being in the lungs, and that the two travel back and forth through a path. Proclaiming such unreasonable absurdities, they consider themselves wise, but unknowingly reveal their foolish nature. This was originally the wrong view of Drigung Palzin. In the Vimala Nyingtik, it says: "The mind resides in the lungs, awareness is in the heart and lungs, regarding it as a deity the size of a mustard seed. This is like the teachings of the heretics." To this, Walmang, you do not even understand the meaning of the words "mind" and "sentient being," yet you take on the burden of refuting others, which is laughable. Why? Because it is said that in the lungs resides the "mind" that rides the karma wind, and in the heart resides the "wisdom" that rides the wisdom wind. If one understands this to mean that there is an independent sentient being in the lungs and an independent Buddha in the heart, that is ridiculous. The term "sentient being" refers to a being that has a mind, just like "one with eyes." What is unreasonable about the mind residing in the lungs? Other scriptures also say that the eye consciousness resides in the eye sense, thereby seeing forms, and the five consciousnesses ride the five branch winds, traveling through the five senses. According to your view, there is a sentient being in the eye that sees forms, a sentient being in the ear that hears sounds, and so on. Six different kinds of sentient beings exist separately in one person's body. Moreover, each thought is a mind, therefore countless different kinds of sentient beings exist in one body, and the consciousnesses ride the twenty-one thousand six hundred winds.
