It is not. As stated in "Resting the Mind Itself": Where there is no thought, one-pointed and unpredicted, clear and merely knowing, without any conceptualization, the various kinds of moving conceptualizations are threefold: the mind-essence of the formless, form, and desire realms. From that samadhi, the three realms gradually arise, but there is no time to be liberated from samsara itself. As stated in "The Quintessence of Trekchö, Vast Expanse of Space": The minds of bliss, clarity, and non-thought of the three realms are each different. The desire, form, and formless realms revolve in existence. There is no time for liberation; even non-Buddhists have this. As stated in "The Great Garuda Spreading Its Wings." (༈) From "The Treasury of the Supreme Vehicle": The great secret of the Vajra Essence, the excellent path of self-arising awareness, is superior to the common vehicle by seven key points: Other paths quickly realize and liberate due to great wisdom, but do not liberate due to smallness. This is the key point of the power of sight, where there is only a difference in the size of diligence, but there is no sharpness or dullness in the faculties. Others rely on their own dharma nature and cling to mental speculation, meditating on emptiness and increasing darkness. This is the key point of not relying on mental speculation, as it is directly visible and does not depend on mental speculation. Others rely on the sequence of expressive words, hoping to realize the meaning from the beginning. This is the key point of not attaining Buddhahood through words, as the meaning is directly seen without relying on a single word or syllable. Others rely on the analysis of the basis, path, and result, making the meaning of their own abiding dependent on time. This is the key point of not relying on the basis and path of mental fabrication, as self-clarity manifests directly and enlightenment arises from itself, so there is no effort or acceptance and rejection. Others believe that enlightenment is achieved when the elements of the channels, winds, and bindus flourish in youth, but they do not liberate when the power of the elements is exhausted in old age. This is the key point of liberating without regard to age, as the sun and moon of self-arising luminosity arise from within, so if one possesses diligence. Others rely on the ultimate result, believing in the three kayas. This is the key point of establishing the definitive state of spontaneously accomplished awareness in the realm of ultimate luminosity, primordial purity, as the three kayas appear as the path. Thus, being superior by seven points, it is superior to the common vehicle from the Shravakas to the secret.

It surpasses all nine stages of outer and inner practices. Furthermore, according to the "Treasury of Precious Words and Meanings": In the stages of practice for those with wisdom of self-arising awareness, there are seven key points that surpass the common: The key point of no sharpness or dullness in the senses, as awareness is realized through direct vision. The key point of no greatness or smallness in wisdom, as the nature of reality is seen through the senses. The key point of not seeing the nature of reality through words, as the intrinsic nature of reality is realized. The key point of no old or young age, as there is no effort in acceptance or rejection. The key point of no good or bad deeds, as self-awareness is without impurity. The key point of not relying on the ground, path, or view of meditation, as the nature of reality transcends thought and completion. The key point of not reverting to the three realms, as the three bodies manifest as the appearance of the path, since the result is primordial purity. It is also said that there are seven distinctions that surpass Trekchö: The distinction related to practice and implementation. The distinction of the body's key points and channels. The distinction of the manifesting door. The distinction of the seeing senses. The distinction of the directness of one's own key point. The distinction of the appearance of light. The distinction of the increase of experiential phenomena. First: The outer sphere is the emptiness of the sky, while the inner sphere is the direct manifestation of awareness like a continuous stream of mercury. The unbroken lineage of practical instruction does not rely on the wisdom of mental discrimination, and there is no mixing, fabrication, depth, or lack thereof in the essence of the instruction, so it is most excellent. From the absence of letters, the nature of awareness pervades all, but the Dharmakaya lies in the oral instruction. Thus it is said. Second: In Trekchö, awareness abides in the body, but lacks its key point, whereas here there is a special key point. In the "Refutation Treatise" it says: The key point of the object is in the senses, the key point of the senses is in the mind, the key point of the mind is in the eyes, the key point of the eyes is in the channels. Therefore, from the posture of the body, the connection between habitual patterns and the body is severed, and the Buddha's intention is perfected. Thus it is said. Third: While awareness abides without conceptualization, in Trekchö, wisdom is sought from the door of the mind through conceptual sound, whereas here, the sound of non-conceptual clear light awareness arises from the eyes and is recognized, so it is also superior. In the "Refutation Treatise" it says: The key point of wisdom arises from the eyes. By knowing how to look with the eyes, one acts together with the Dharmadhatu. Thus it is said. The distinction of the seeing senses is that in Trekchö, the senses see by grasping the appearance of the six consciousnesses of external objects, so there are various conceptualizations.
