In the Kalachakra, it is said that when the three, realm, line, and awareness, and the completion of the increase of practice and the beginning of reaching the standard, manifest as the nature of the three realms, lines, and awareness, and the three Kaya palaces. As stated in the eighteenth chapter of the Supreme Vehicle Treasury, without understanding this, those foolish practitioners and thinkers who are confused about this place, merely apply the essential points of Trekchö to it and try to explain it, which is extremely laughable. Furthermore, in the Supreme Vehicle Treasury, regarding the explanation of the words of the main subject, there are two: the definition of words and the determination of meaning. First, regarding the word "main subject," there are four possibilities, that is, it is the basis but not the reality, etc., as mentioned above. Dodrup Rinpoche said that "basis" refers to the basis implied by the three: basis, path, and fruit, and "reality" refers to the manifest realization. Lingtrul said that "reality" refers to the real meaning to be realized, and "basis" refers to the meaning of support, foundation, or method. Khenpo Ngakchung said that "basis" refers to the expresser, and "reality" refers to the expressed. (༈) In "Adornment of Self-View Introduction," it is said that there are three: appearance introduced as mind, mind-essence introduced as emptiness, and emptiness introduced as awareness. The intention is to correct those who hold external objects to be truly existent as different from oneself. The necessity is merely to abandon the clinging to the truth of holding external objects as truly established. And the harm to reality is that if appearance is mind, then the mind must have shape and color, etc., and when the mind ceases, the appearance must cease at the same time. However, even when there is no mind, appearance still exists, which has many harms. If these three are understood exactly as they are, then they will be confused with each other, leading to confusion of awareness, and appearance will not be seen by the eyes, etc., and the mind will not be confused, because these three are essentially the same thing. It is said. These are merely to correct those of lower capacity and are not close to the intention of the Heart Essence, as the Self-Arisen Tantra says: The yoga of appearance and mind is, all arises from my mind, if mind-essence is realized, what is the use? All of them are expressers, I have not said that they are liberated. It is very important to understand this. If both appearance and mind are considered to be the same, then there will be endless faults.

To consider appearances as mind by the omniscient ones is a great darkness of wrong views that must be dispelled. In general, the *Treasury of the Supreme Vehicle*, and in particular, the commentary on the *Wish-Fulfilling Treasury*, the *White Lotus*, extensively prohibit this, so please refer to them. In Mipham Rinpoche's commentary on the *Ornament of the Middle Way* and its clarification of doubts, it is also mentioned that if, conventionally, there is no external object apart from mind, then to consider both body and mind as one substance is the tenet of the materialist school of thought. Furthermore, it refutes with reason and scripture the claim that mountains and so on are mind, without distinguishing between location and appearance. The kind one also, when speaking of *Wisdom Lama*, explained the meaning of both the preceding and following statements of the scripture as follows. Furthermore, it is important to understand the way in which appearance and mind meet like mother and child, and the way in which the clarity of example and meaning are explained, distinguishing between appearance and the object of appearance, each according to their own intention, and it is crucial not to mix them up. (༈) It is said that the Vaibhashikas and Sautrantikas assert the existence of external objects. The Mind-Only school, or those who assert only consciousness, are also called Yogacharas. The Mind-Only school believes that all these appearances of various colors and shapes, together with their cognitions, are appearances of one's own mind, which is called *true aspect*; and the appearances of cognition are false, which is called *false aspect*. The former refers to the appearance that actually appears as the appearance of one's own mind, merely appearing outwardly. Just as when a jewel by the pond is hung on a tree branch, the reflection of the jewel appears in the water, the image of the jewel also appears outwardly. That is what they believe. The *true aspect* is divided into three: half an egg, equal number of grasper and grasped, and diverse and non-dual. The latter, the *false aspect*, refers to the appearance of external objects, but it is not true for cognition. Since the cognition that measures it is also false, there is no measurement that is more real than the experience being measured. Both object and cognition are considered to be illusions and of a false nature. This is divided into two: with defilements and without defilements. The former refers to the fact that the appearances that appear in various forms now, and the cognition that measures them, are both merely appearances of the defilements of the mind. In reality, there is only the quality of the wisdom realm that possesses the two non-self-natures, and there is nothing that is established as consciousness. The Dharmakaya of the Buddhas
