Having accumulated many wonderful substances of the earth, mixed with the milk of red cows and white sheep, a large mound of clay was made. It was placed as a headrest for the king to sleep on. In the morning, the Eleven-Faced Avalokiteśvara Wish-Fulfilling Jewel appeared naturally, without the need for divine artisans to construct it. Of these, the root three faces are white, extremely smiling, performing peaceful activities. The three faces above that are golden in color, fierce wrathful faces, performing enriching activities. The two faces above that are coral-colored, laughing wrathful faces, performing magnetizing activities. The two faces above that are black, wrathful and gaping wrathful faces, performing wrathful activities. Above that is Amitābha, the color of a red flower, equal in size to the king. The emblems of the ten fundamental hands of the Dharmakāya are: the first two hands are joined in prayer at the heart. The second on the right holds a rosary, the third holds a Dharma wheel, the fourth makes the supreme generosity mudra, and the fifth holds Amitābha. The second on the left holds a white lotus, the third holds a vase, the fourth holds a jewel, and the fifth holds a bow and arrow. The hands of the emanation body were made by divine artisans. When it appeared naturally, it did not exceed the ten root hands. Then the king said: 'Artisan, this image is very wonderful and has been completed quickly, but the naturally arising sandalwood image and the relics of the seven Buddhas must be placed inside in a manner of abiding within.' The artisan said: 'This image was not made by me; it appeared naturally.' As soon as he said this, the hem of the left leg was raised above the knee, and light emanated from the palm of the hand, inviting those sacred objects and dissolving them into his heart. Amitābha leaned slightly to the left, and the hem also remained above the knee, and it remained that way thereafter. The sandalwood snake heart became the life-force of the head, the two Bodhi trees became the life-force of the feet, and the previous substances became the body. Thus, it was not made by an artisan, but the image was naturally accomplished, and the naturally arising image of the noble one abides within, and the three Dharma kings, father, mother, and son, dissolved into it, therefore it is known as the five naturally accomplished. Furthermore, the king said: 'In a great forest on the border between India and Nepal, there is a sandalwood Hari tree radiating light in ten directions, naturally.'

Behold, four brothers have arrived. Furthermore, the emanation monk was sent to invite those sacred objects. When the sandalwood was cut with an axe, four images appeared in succession. First, Jowo Wati (Wati Bodhisattva) resides in Kyirong (present-day Kyirong County, Tibet) in Mangyul. Second, the halo image resides in the city of Yambu Yagal (present-day Kathmandu, Nepal). Third, it resides on the border between India and Nepal in Jama La. Fourth, as it was said that it would go to the tutelary deity of King Songtsen Gampo, the emanation monk invited the holy Avalokiteśvara, who now resides on the top of the Potala Palace. Now, in situations such as death, the Bhagavan said: At the time of death, one should generate regret for the non-virtuous deeds previously done, and prostrate and seek refuge in all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, so that sins can be purified and one can also be reborn in the heavens. The Sutra on the Eleven Perceptions states: At the time of the Bhagavan's Nirvana, he instructed the monks: Monks, when the time of death comes, a monk should bring forth eleven perceptions. What are the eleven? They are the perception of non-attachment to this, the perception of love for all sentient beings, the perception of completely abandoning all hatred, the perception of confessing all transgressions of discipline, the perception of properly upholding all precepts, the perception of remorse for having committed great misdeeds, the perception of magnifying small roots of virtue, the perception of having no fear of the next world, the perception of impermanence towards all compounded things, the perception of selflessness towards all phenomena, and the perception that Nirvana is peace. Thus he spoke. In the Mahayana Sutra called "Noble Samadhi Wisdom," the great Bodhisattva Akashagarbha prostrated to the Bhagavan and asked: Bhagavan, when a Bodhisattva is about to die, how should one view the mind at the time of death? The Bhagavan instructed: Akashagarbha, when a Bodhisattva is about to die, one should practice samadhi wisdom. Among them, samadhi wisdom refers to the fact that since all phenomena are naturally pure, one should cultivate the perception of non-substantiality.
