In most cases, that place was named after that family. For example, it was named like "Rogpa" or "Gyerpa." Gyasa Tripön: In the lower Yarlung, near the Ma region, many people descended from the family of the bird king with good wings and good feathers, so in that place called Gyasa, two brothers appeared: Gya Chökyi Kawa and his younger brother Topa Yumé Jen. The younger brother's sons were Khenpo Yönten Chok and Gya Shaka. Khenpo Yönten Chok, after becoming a monk, served as a Khenpo for others and restored temples everywhere. Gya Shaka had sons Dorjé Lekpa and Dorjé Wangchuk. Dorjé Wangchuk's son, Lama Gya Nak Chenpo Rinchen Ö, at the age of forty-one, met the Kashmiri Pandit and listened to many teachings, including the twelve deities of the purification tantra mandala, and also relied on many Lamas. His fame spread throughout the entire snowy land. He had four Dharma sons: Tsal Göm Chöla Gawa in Gyamé, Rab Gawa Chenpo in Loro, Dakpo Tso Repa, and U Yukpa Chenpo in Tsang. Gya Nakpa Chenpo's family's son Gya Jo Sras, his son Gya Ngadak, he had sons Gya Gelongwa, Gya Rinchen, and Gya Chögyal Pelzang, who are called the Three Protectors of the Gya clan. Gelongwa had sons Rinchen Pel, Wangchuk Rinchen, Rinchen Zangpo, and Dakpo Ba four. Gya Rinchen's son Kunga Rinchen consulted with Sakya's great official Kunga Zangpo. Gya Chögyal Pelzang went to the presence of Drogön Phagpa. He entrusted Sharpa Kün Sö as his teacher and studied the Dharma including the three tantra instructions. During the time of Ami Gya Nak, on top of the existing Gönkhang in Yangtsé, he built the Yangtsé Temple. He built the golden Kangyur. Kunga Rinchen's sons were Kunga Gyaltsen, Khenchen Jilbupa, Ngadak Chö Seng Ö, and Gya Thubpa Pel. Ngadak Chö Seng Ö, because he was born to a Drigung Pönmo, the Drigungpa appointed him as the official of Gya Dak. His son Khenchen Tsultrim Zangpo, while serving as the Khenpo of Zangmoché, everyone unanimously...

It is so. Why is that? Because mental strength is small, medium, and large. These can be exemplified by a universal monarch, a ship's helmsman, and a manager, etc., which are extensively explained. In the "Lamp for the Precious Middle Way" by the master Bhāvaviveka, it says: Those of sharp faculties attain complete enlightenment in three countless eons, those of medium faculties in seven countless eons, and those of dull faculties in thirty-three countless eons. Thus, dull faculties require three countless eons in the stages of accumulation and application, and three in each of the ten bhumis. Medium faculties require seven countless eons, two each in the stages of accumulation and application, one in the path of seeing, and two in the path of meditation. Sharp faculties require one in the stages of accumulation and application, one from the first to the seventh bhumi, and one in the three pure bhumis. Dividing by the boundaries of the bhumis, in the paths of accumulation and application, one generates the aspiration of adhimukti-caryā-citta, practicing with aspiration such as faith in the bodhisattva bhumis by seeing emptiness in a general way; from the first to the seventh bhumi, one generates the aspiration of adhyāśaya-viśuddhi-citta, cultivating the mind to be without difference in benefiting oneself and others by realizing the equality of self and others; in the three pure bhumis, one generates the aspiration of vipāka-citta, effortlessly and spontaneously practicing the perfections by obtaining spontaneously accomplished non-conceptual wisdom; and in the buddha bhumi, one generates the aspiration of tyāga-citta, abandoning the two obscurations by abandoning the obscurations. Formerly, at the time of our teacher, etc., in the "Śākyamuni Ritual and Subsequent Teachings," it says: Even a small root of virtue and aspiration directed towards the Buddha is not in vain. The sutra says: In the past, when the Tathagata named "Subduing All" appeared in the world, that Tathagata emanated various forms of the two supreme disciples and bodhisattvas such as Brahma, and on the road to alms in the royal palace, three children adorned with fine ornaments saw him and developed faith. One child said, "Let us offer this best field," and the second child said, "There are no flowers here, what shall we offer?"
