་པ་ཡིན་ནོ། །མི་རྣམས་ཚེ་ལོ་དཔག་མེད་ནས་མར་བརྒྱད་ཁྲིའི་བར་འགྲིབ་པ་ནི་ཆགས་པར་གཏོགས་ལ། བརྒྱད་ཁྲི་ནས་མར་འགྲིབ་སྟེ་ཚེ་ལོ་བཅུ་པའི་བར་ནི་བར་བསྐལ་དང་པོ་ཡིན། དེ་ནས་ཡར་བརྒྱད་ཁྲིའི་བར་སྐྱེ་བ་དང་མར་བཅུ་པའི་བར་འགྲིབ་པ་ནི་ཡར་སྐྱེས་མར་འགྲིབ་ཟུང་རེ་གཅིག་ཏུ་བགྲངས་པས་བར་བསྐལ་བཅོ་བརྒྱད། ཡང་ཚེ་ལོ་བཅུ་པ་ནས་ཡར་བརྒྱད་ཁྲིའི་བར་སྐྱེ་བ་ནི་བར་བསྐལ་གཅིག་སྟེ་ཉི་ཤུའོ། །ཐོག་མཐའི་རྐྱང་བ་རྣམས་དལ་གྱིས་འགྲོ་བས་བུལ་བ་དང་། བར་གྱི་ཁུག་པ་རྣམས་མྱུར་བར་འགྲོ་བའི་ཕྱིར་མགྱོགས་པ་སྟེ། དེའི་མགྱོགས་བུལ་ནི་ཆོས་ཉིད་ཀྱི་རིགས་པ་ཡིན་ནོ། །ཚེ་མཐའི་མདོ་ལས། གཟུགས་ཁམས་ཚངས་རིས་ཀྱི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཚེའི་ཚད་ནི་བསྐལ་པ་ཕྱེད་དོ། །ཚངས་པ་མདུན་ན་འདོན་གྱི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ནི་བསྐལ་པའི་བཞི་ཆ་གསུམ་ཐུབ་བོ། །ཚངས་ཆེན་གྱི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ནི་བསྐལ་པ་གཅིག་ཐུབ་བོ། །འོད་ཆུང་གི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ནི་བསྐལ་པ་གཉིས་སོ། །ཚད་མེད་འོད་ཀྱི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ནི་བསྐལ་པ་བཞིའོ། །འོད་གསལ་གྱི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ནི་བསྐལ་པ་བརྒྱད་དོ། །དགེ་ཆུང་གི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ནི་བསྐལ་པ་བཅུ་དྲུག་གོ། །ཚད་མེད་དགེའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ནི་བསྐལ་པ་སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གཉིས་སོ། །དགེ་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ནི་བསྐལ་པ་དྲུག་ཅུ་རྩ་བཞིའོ། །སྤྲིན་མེད་ཀྱི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ནི་བསྐལ་པ་བརྒྱ་ཉི་ཤུ་རྩ་ལྔའོ། །བསོད་ནམས་སྐྱེས་པའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ནི་བསྐལ་པ་ཉིས་བརྒྱ་དང་ལྔ་བཅུའོ། །འབྲས་བུ་ཆེ་བའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ནི་བསྐལ་པ་ལྔ་བརྒྱའོ། །འདུ་ཤེས་མེད་པའི་སེམས་ཅན་དང་མི་ཆེ་བའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ནི་བསྐལ་པ་སྟོང་ངོ་། །མི་གདུང་བའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ནི་བསྐལ་པ་ཉིས་སྟོང་ངོ་། །ཤིན་ཏུ་མཐོང་བའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ནི་བསྐལ་པ་བཞི་སྟོང་ངོ་། །གྱ་ནོམ་སྣང་བའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ནི་བསྐལ་པ་བརྒྱད་སྟོང་ངོ་། །འོག་མིན་གྱི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ནི་བསྐལ་པ་ཁྲི་དྲུག་སྟོང་ཐུབ་བོ། །གཟུགས་མེད་པ་བཞིའི་ནམ་མཁའ་མཐའ་ཡས་ཀྱི་སྐྱེ་མཆེད་དུ་ཉེ་བར་འགྲོ་བའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ནི་བསྐལ་པ་ཉི་ཁྲིའོ། །རྣམ་ཤེས་མཐའ་ཡས་ཀྱི་སྐྱེ་མཆེད་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ནི་བསྐལ་པ་བཞི་ཁྲིའོ། །ཅི་ཡང་མེད་པའི་སྐྱེ་མཆེད་པ་རྣམས་ནི་བསྐལ་པ་དྲུག་ཁྲིའོ། །འདུ་ཤེས་མེད་འདུ་ཤེས་མེད་མིན་ཀྱི་སྐྱེ་མཆེད་དུ་ཉེ་བར་འགྲོ་བའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ནི་བསྐལ་ཆེན་བརྒྱད་ཁྲི་ཐུབ་བོ། །ཞེས་གསུངས། ༈ གཞན་ཡང་པཱ་ལ་རྣམ་གསུམ་ཙན་དྲ་སོ

是这样的。人们的寿命从无量岁递减到八万岁属于成劫。从八万岁递减到十岁是第一个中劫。之后从十岁增长到八万岁，再从八万岁递减到十岁，这样一增一减算作一个，共有十八个中劫。再次从十岁增长到八万岁是一个中劫，总共二十个中劫。最初和最后的单独阶段缓慢进行，所以迟缓，中间的阶段快速进行，所以迅速。这种快慢是事物规律的道理。寿命边际的经文中说：色界梵众天的寿命是半个劫。梵辅天的寿命能活四分之三个劫。大梵天的寿命能活一个劫。少光天的寿命是两个劫。无量光天的寿命是四个劫。极光净天的寿命是八个劫。少净天的寿命是十六个劫。无量净天的寿命是三十二个劫。遍净天的寿命是六十四个劫。无云天的寿命是一百二十五个劫。福生天的寿命是二百五十个劫。广果天的寿命是五百个劫。无想有情和无大天的寿命是一千个劫。无烦天的寿命是两千个劫。善现天的寿命是四千个劫。善见天的寿命是八千个劫。色究竟天的寿命能活一万六千个劫。四无色处中，空无边处天的寿命是两万个劫。识无边处天的寿命是四万个劫。无所有处天的寿命是六万个劫。非想非非想处天的寿命能活八万大劫。这样说。此外，还有巴拉三种、旃扎等。

It is like this. The decrease in human lifespan from immeasurable years to eighty thousand years belongs to the formation kalpa. The decrease from eighty thousand years to ten years is the first intermediate kalpa. After that, the increase from ten years to eighty thousand years and the decrease from eighty thousand years to ten years, counting one increase and one decrease as one, there are eighteen intermediate kalpas. Again, the increase from ten years to eighty thousand years is one intermediate kalpa, totaling twenty intermediate kalpas. The initial and final solitary stages proceed slowly, so they are slow, and the intermediate stages proceed quickly, so they are fast. This speed is the principle of the nature of things. In the Sutra of the Limit of Life, it says: The lifespan of the gods of the Brahma host in the Form Realm is half a kalpa. The gods of Brahma's retinue can live for three-quarters of a kalpa. The gods of the Great Brahma can live for one kalpa. The gods of Limited Light can live for two kalpas. The gods of Immeasurable Light can live for four kalpas. The gods of Radiant Light can live for eight kalpas. The gods of Limited Virtue can live for sixteen kalpas. The gods of Immeasurable Virtue can live for thirty-two kalpas. The gods of Extensive Virtue can live for sixty-four kalpas. The gods of Cloudless can live for one hundred and twenty-five kalpas. The gods of Merit-Born can live for two hundred and fifty kalpas. The gods of Great Fruit can live for five hundred kalpas. The lifespan of non-conceptual beings and non-great gods is one thousand kalpas. The gods of No Affliction can live for two thousand kalpas. The gods of Well-Seeing can live for four thousand kalpas. The gods of Good Appearance can live for eight thousand kalpas. The gods of Akanishta can live for sixteen thousand kalpas. Among the four formless realms, the gods who closely approach the sphere of infinite space can live for twenty thousand kalpas. Those in the sphere of infinite consciousness can live for forty thousand kalpas. Those in the sphere of nothingness can live for sixty thousand kalpas. The gods who closely approach the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception can live for eighty thousand great kalpas. Thus it is said. Furthermore, there are the three Palas, Chandra, etc.
